It is a long time passed since i have bought my first bitcoin at that time i have planned to invest it but as days and konth passed i am busy with this so much that i hse it on every possible transaction with it daily.

If we can use direct bitcoin be sure we could use the currency. But in my opinion is very risky because bitcoin is often fluctuate so prices will quickly up and down and inappropriate when used for currency. I better use bitcoin as a short-term investment because it can make a profit is quite good in my opinion.
It's not a problem if the company deals only with bitcoin services. They don't have to worry the price fluctuations since overall they are using bitcoin as a regular payment to deal with those services. Bitcoin doesn't simply just go and fluctuate every second. I believe it has atleast a a minute interval? Besides, they can use bitpay service to automatically translate bitcoin into usd or euro or whatever currency is available. That way, shop owners don't actually risk from immediate fluctuations. |

Mostly using as currency, i am not so good in bitcoins to invest my money, i need some advice from trusted people before i will do this, but i can use it as currency without problems.

Its a 70/30 ratio for me, 70% goes into investment and rest 30% is used as a currency for buying online stuffs, and most of the coins are invested in trading.

I use bitcoin for both. I invest to make trades and I also purchase various necessities of life using bitcoin.
bitcoin is so easy and practical to use.
Yes,you're right when you said using bitcoin is so easy and it nice either to use bitcoin as currency or investment but you need to be more careful in other not to loose your bitcoin just like that cos there's a lot of risk involve in using bitcoin as investment. well if you will invest into bitcoins then you might lose a lot of money because no one knows ho will investments turn out |

I have been thinking about this lately, how can you tell the difference between currency and investment?
Because if you have something of value then you can trade it which makes it equal to a currency.
And when you have something that has value of currency only then you can turn it into an investment.
So currency or investment, both are the same.
Currency and investment has different meaning literally but if we will take it "Using bitcoin as currency or investment" this is the appropriate answer in my own view. Using bitcoin as a currency means like the way you treat fiat. No holding for price increase but rather using it regularly to the things you want to use it like fiat. Bitcoin as investment means... yes it's already obvious. You will put money in bitcoin and you are expecting good returns out of it. |

I use both, I use bitcoin as an investment and currency, I usually pay the electrical bill with bitcoin because that is the easiest way to spend bitcoin in my country. Curently, there are not many stores that accept bitcoin. However some services like phone and electrical billing accept bitcoin.

Of course it can be called as an investment as you are waiting for the right time to sell to earn profits from it, and we only invest so that we can get higher profits from it. Certainly, and I believe that most users use for these purposes as well. yeah investing into bitcoins is really good for me to be honest though besides that i also rarely do shopping online with bitcoins |

I use it as investment and as loading station as for me I don't need to text my friends for reload and then pay later or go outside to purchase load. I would only use coins.ph to reload my sim for internet more of savings because than paying for my load it will only deduct on my bitcoin. So convenient and safer.

You already used both in your bitcoin base on your statement that is what i do in my bitcoin sometimes i use it to pay my bills and shop online but i have portion of bitcoin that i can keep as my investment to have income while i am spending some of my bitcoin. |
