Does holding is investing? And wait to make profit from it? It it so then I'm making the right move. There's a lot of benefits that bitcoins bringing to us. The demands of users can reach easily such as recharging our mobile phones, pay bills and much more.

I use bitcoin as currency and i never sell my bitcoin, but i prefer to use bitcoin when price is rising

Are you thinking you wanna save you bitcoins, and when price will increased than you will sell it. i believe most of the people are thinking just like you,.but now everyone want to use in investment because they want to get more profit. so i refer both of it.

I use Bitcoins as a currency and investment.

Most of the people right now saving bitcoin as investment as well as they are daily using it as currency. But the prime deciding factor would be their belief on bitcoin ecosystem. If they believe bitcoin would return some life changing returns then definitely they will stop spending bitcoin and they will save more.

Bitcoin fulfills both functions for me, but I have to admit that at this point I prefer to store most of my bitcoins, and only a minimum amount of my bitcoins are used to carry out some financial transactions.

I use bitcoin for both as currency and investment. I use bitcoin fo invest on gambling and trading too. For currency i can buy and paying my bill online using bitcoin.

As soon as there are more merchants that accept BTC here in my country, I will not think twice about using BTC as payment. I don't know how long it's gonna take for mass adoption to happen here, but I'm keeping myself hooked on BTC so I will not be left behind by technology.

It is purely based on the country you are from. Because in many countries, still people could not find many opportunities to spend their bitcoins and they are getting forced to use bitcoin only as an investment for future.

You are right. Deciding use of bitcoins as a currency or investment is not based on a bitcoiner's preference. It is simply based on the availability merchants who are accepting bitcoins. When you have more options to spend your bitcoins the possibility of saving bitcoin as investment will get decreased.

Other than the belief on bitcoin ecosystem, I guess if you get more chances to spend your bitcoins than you will go bitcoin as a currency. Only with your strong will and belief, you may ignore those chances of spending bitcoins right now and keeping your bitcoins as an investment for your better future.

There are a lot of people that is using it for both and we use it as a currency because you also see now that Bitcoin is getting more acceptable and that is perfect.
And if people is making an investment than they want to earn some profit of course with it but that can takes a long time.

I voted "Both of them" because although I use Bitcoin as investment mostly sometimes it is also a payment for my small jobs. It's very convenient to receive a payment on your BTC wallet, and then, yes, it becomes an investment. )

Majority of people are treating it in the both ways as they know if they invest in it at present then it can be the best investment for future.

For now I would say a lot of Bitcoin users fall into one of the two camps, there are some users that both use Bitcoin as a currency and investment, but a majority of them have their Bitcoin either being moved or they're holding their Bitcoin for right now.

I personally am holding a large majority of my Bitcoin now, and chances are I won't be spending it in the near future.
