I do not understand why I should compare these currencies. The dollar is for the government, and bitcoin is for the people. So it was from the very beginning of the existence of bitcoin. And bitcoin will never replace the dollar

Actually, bitcoin was created first to give people a more convenient way to pay for online shopping and other online services, that way it replaces the other online payment method with providing a more secure way, but with more people using it and prices get higher and higher, bitcoin became a type of investment and not a way of payment so we can’t really compare it to the dollar right now, and instead we should compare it to the gold.

That's completely right, due to the limited supply and investors are thinking it will increase its value once the demand will increase,
they made it an investment and that makes them able to manipulate the price especially if they are whales. USD is just a currency and it will not increase it's value like what bitcoin achieve.

The government money is specifically made to be used by the majority of population. And Bitcoin is a face-to-face and head-to-head competitor of any government money out there. Whenever a foreign currency (just an example) enters the local markets, the government becomes very hostile toward people using that currency instead of a local one. Bitcoin is no different in this respect. In fact, it is even more dangerous since it can be transacted without using local banks which is impossible with any other foreign currency

nope there's still a lot of bunch of people don't know about bitcoin. so USD still popular than btc since it's the main currency because it can be exchange in different countries and also you can use it on some store that accepting that kind of currency one thing about USD it's been one and only currency that needed to be compare in your own country currency if im not wrong and also bitcoin is a crypto currency that's why it's not quite popular. but soon it will

It is not more popular but what's sure is it's safer, better and pricier. Invest in bitcoin when you still can before Bitcoin take the leading role !

Agreed. Bitcoin is smaller but popular in terms of safety and not to forget heavy transactions. USD transaction would cost you surcharges and taxes to be paid on document. However you can save little of that if you transfer money in terms of bitcoins. People do not need any identification or chaotic documentation process to get such transaction done. So bitcoin or USD both have more or less same popularity, it's just about personal choice I believe. :-)

i think we shobuld not compare bitcoin with USD as bitcoin is online digital and universal decentralize currency, while USD is regional, physical currency belonging to specific area. bitcoin is very new as compare to USD. bitcoin will still take some good time to become more and more popular because currency most of the people of the world still do not know anything about bitcoin. i think they still need good information about bitcoin.

Yeah we shouldn't compare these good currencies as we are both enjoying them earning, we earn bitcoin, we earn dollars. They are both beneficial to all of us because most of the time the profit that we are earning that needs to exchange with dollar. USD is no doubt trusted by the whole nation but btc is still needs to go a long run.

Precisely because bitcoin is made different I can freely choose the financial system that I use, if bitcoin is set, everyone's attention will return to fiat and the majority of bitcoin volume will shrink, so far I have the convenience to own and use both. But I also do not refuse if bitcoin will be regulated, we also need bitcoin recognized as legal tender.

Indeed the dollar usa has a fairly high popularity around the world, as the USA is a super power countries have many branches of industry cooperation with most countries in the world. So that their currency is widely used by most countries in the world, because it is indeed the USA is a country that is quite unusual in midwife economy. But behind the popularity of the Dollar, I see a country that will replace the position of the dollar is the yuan (China). where I see now the Chinese have high enough change and it is possible the country will accept bitcoin because his system is good enough

There are quite a few things which are priced in dollars and most likely anything which can be priced as such has already been priced in dollars. Bananas are priced in dollars, gas is priced in dollars, other currencies are priced in dollars. Wtf, even gold is priced in US dollars! But does it mean that all these things are somehow "tied" to the wretched American dollar or their value somehow depends on the dollar? There are so many things that allegedly depend on it that we could actually wonder if it is not too much for something which is basically paper to make so many things to depend on it? Could it in fact be quite the other way round?

Bitcoin was never opposed to the dollar. He was not his enemy. These are two wonderful assets, thanks to which you can increase your capital. Just need to be able to use the difference in the price of these assets.

No.But it has started to gain popularity slowly.US dollar has been as Global reserve currency for the past 70 years.Petrol is sold only in US Dollars.US dollars can be exchanged universally in any country.But bitcoi has just crossed its initial eight years.There are more people who dont even have bank account and dont know about credit card and digital transactions.But bitcoin is a digital currency.So it would take years for bitcoin to get popularity more than US dollars.
