I think almost everyone in this world knows dollar while bitcoin is only a small part of the world know bitcoin so it's obvious that dollar is much more popular than bitcoin.

That time has gone when people were not aware of bitcoin now even a kid I aware if bitcoin and knows about it and bitcoin is now most discussed thing everywhere in the world and the recent pump in the prices has drawn the attention of world from other thing to the bitcoin and now people are regretting that why didn’t hear about it before and you will see bitcoin kicking out dollars and all other paper money.

If btc was more popular than usd then we would be sitting far higher than 450 dollars right now. So to answer your question, no. Not by far unfortunately.

But it is better today. Comparing the price of the two and the benefit that it gives to people, I can say that bitcoin is better and more popular to people, many people around the world uses bitcoin and those number of people is still increasing. The price is very far from the time that this thread was created and looking back, it seems so long but it just took less than two years for bitcoin to grow this big.

I think dollars are better than Bitcoins.You will find more people that are new to Bitcoin and would like to learn what is it and  this currency is not accepted worldwide No one can say what is the future of bitcoin but about dollars it will  be popular same as present. . On other hand,  the U.S. Dollar is have stable here value to many years while bitcoin born in 1950's.so people will trust dollars instead of bitcoin.but no one knows about this two currency in the future..

Agree, USD was already build a strong foundation with the people in which it is hard for the bitcoin to surpass it. The truth is bitcoin is just another kind of investment in which we joined because we want to earn dollars for our spending and bitcoin cannot replace dollar even the other paper money because not all people know how to use it specially the children.

NO! United States Dollar still more popular than bitcoin, im not american and every time i ask my friends and my family did they know about bitcoin, they always answer no but if i ask did you know about USD they answer that know USD, its mean that bitcoin is note popular than USD

There is no doubt that the dollar is still the most popular out of the two, but bitcoin is making progress like no other currency around the world and in the distant future bitcoin could be big enough to become a rival to the dollar hegemony that has lasted for so long.

Yes, Bitcoin community should avoid the war with the government. We do not have any benefit after all because the government was the controller of the world in long time. Against the government just make us be died or become the poor soon.

You have some good idea about both the currencies, but one thing which you have missed is that bitcoin is an electronic money whereas the US dollar is a fiat currency. A lot can be be said about both of them but I think in the end, bitcoin is much more better choice than the US dollar and the best reason is because Bitcoin is your investment as well as money in hand, where as US dollar is only money in hand and wont pay you off.

as long as USD is able to continue to be the benchmark of crypto exchange it will not apply the opposite, there needs strong regulation so bitcoin will always follow the movement of fiat. if the world can not afford to regulate it regularly and continue to spread negative issues will have no effect because bitcoin offers potential freedom in various aspects of business, the government must work fast or will be eroded by digital civilization.

Not only coming popular but coming strong against the dollar (usd). In my country I was amazed when I see the value of the bitcoin in the currency exchange rate is more higher than the dollar. It's been long time I was not mindful of it even the value of bitcoin for years but when I saw it it's a big shot right now. So it's better to change the bitcoins now to get more value out of it.

Bitcoin and USD can exist together and actually it does give us good benefits because using both will give us an ease to transact online.

With bitcoin you can pay immediately with anyone, anywhere. With bitcoin you can deliver packages of documents and related information. The blockchain allows for a transparent accounting within any enterprise. It isn't all the benefits, but it's enough to say that the dollar category is quite different.s not
