I have few bitcoins in my wallet so if I am in desperate need of money then will sell some of my coins according to my need instead of borrowing it from friends or family as it doesn't look good on my part to spoil my image for few bucks and if I keep on begging for money from others then what is the use of earning and having bitcoins?
Well that is appliccable if you have btcs that you've kept and it's the same as having some savings in he bank that you can actually dig into if you're in need. That doesn't really make it a desperate situation. I don't think anyone would have a choice but to ask for oyher people's help when things are desperate. Its just hiw you handle people's trust the first time you ask for their help that can really save you from a desperate situation Bitcoin is money so anytime you can cash it out when you run out of fiat, that's not really a real definition of a person who are in desperate need of money, desperation means you are badly needed it and you do not have an option but to borrow money. Sometimes we will come to that point in our life, although we do have a good amount of savings but expected emergency situation will wipe our all our savings since we need more. |

If I were in desperate need of money, I'll ask from family and friends. Then I will try to find a job. So that I'll be able to return their money. Finding a job would be a better solution in such cases than trying some shortcuts.

Thats the best thing you can do, ask to your relatives, they can provide you to what you really need especially when it is urgent financial problem. And after you need to find work to pay them back. Borrowing from friends and family is the best option if you need money desperately as they are the people who trust you and can understand your difficulty and urgency and can help you in your tough times but you have to make sure that you return them back on time or else it can also spoil your relations with them. and if your friend refuse to give me any money, as if he do not have such amount at that time. therefore to me i think the best option is to have some extra money saved in your account which you can use in disparate need. |

You could take a small loan of a million dollar like trump, or you could do like me I keep a couple of bitcoins safe and sound in a wallet and I don’t use them I just add whatever I have left from transactions and put it there so in case I wanted some immediate money I exchange those. |

When I'm desperate for money or bitcoin becomes work I'm looking for ambitious such as the trade of bitcoin / Altcoin. In this way I was easily able to save money and make it easy. So I'm staying trading to find a solution to earn. |

Because it says here that you need to have assurance that you will get that money. As for I know only if you don't have savings in account then only you will go to ask your friend and when friend refuses, then borrowing or getting debt is the only go or else need to get money placing gold or other valuables as collateral. I always prefer the last one of getting loan. |

I agree with you, but i think you can also save money if you trade although it takes time. saving is the best way so you can have money to spend if you are in desperate need, however there were really times that you dont have control in every situation so if ever that happens to me, my way is to borrow from my relatives or anyone who can lend me even with collateral. |

Funny because that's how the banks work. "I'll loan you money but only if you can prove that you can pay later." Unlike that, your friends and your family most of the time don't mind when are you going to pay. But you should pay them no matter what. In my country, getting a loan is so rampant that it becomes an issue sometimes. They get a loan from someone and then get a loan to another person just to pay the loan from the previous person. This is a bad practice because you get more and more loans and the interest is becoming compounded. |

I agree 100% with you. A lot of the noobs posting here think that trading is some magic bullet. That is not the case. Altcoin trading is just like gambling. It can become addictive, and in 90% of the cases, you are likely to lose your investment. In the past, I have done altcoin trading. I had mixed fortunes with it. But now, I have gained more experience, and I have vowed that I will never do trading again. |

But if you're just buying and buying coins without doing research or without having any plans at all, then you might as well be gambling in some casino because you are relying on luck and nothing else. The huge advantage of trading over gambling is the fact that you can learn from it. As time pass by, it becomes easier and easier for you to classify which ones are good coins and which ones aren't. |

But if you're just buying and buying coins without doing research or without having any plans at all, then you might as well be gambling in some casino because you are relying on luck and nothing else. You don't have to trade altcoins you can always stay to the safest pair like btc/usdt on poloniex which I think are not jsut for newbies. You can sell with price is high and you can buy when low, literally that's just it. But then of course you will have to wait for its price to drop once you sold yours. |

Unfortunately very often it happens that it is impossible to earn enough money to repay the debt. When you are losing your money is one thing, but when you lose money relatives then you can become enemies. This is the most horrible that can be when relatives become enemies. Well sometime ago i were worry about such situation, since i had a debit, recently one of my investments had alowed me to pay my debit and keep some money in cash, but well doesnt matter if you have saving, usually when some incident happens your savings wont be enought and you will start a run to find and get a source to get the money you need. Usually the first people we contact are family, but well the most say no, soo you have no choise besides banks.

Well sometime ago i were worry about such situation, since i had a debit, recently one of my investments had alowed me to pay my debit and keep some money in cash, but well doesnt matter if you have saving, usually when some incident happens your savings wont be enought and you will start a run to find and get a source to get the money you need. Usually the first people we contact are family, but well the most say no, soo you have no choise besides banks.
If your family cannot fully help you, you need to borrow money to supplement the lacking amount. You can only do that easily if you maintain a good reputation, once you borrow you pay on time and intact as they are the last person you'll ever go once you are in need again. |
