Hi everyone!

We would like to apologize to all the users who missed out on the first Olympics raffle due to it being drawn too early.

To compensate for that we have created a new raffle which will be drawn on the 15th of August. All users who made a bet on the Olympics from 05.08 to 08.08 will receive one ticket for an equal chance of winning a prize.

We are still looking to improve the provably fair in order to have more accurate draw times. We appreciate all of your feedback and will definitely take it into account as first and foremost we build for the community.

The current system uses unique hashes from the blocks, and, when creating a raffle, we predict what block should be discovered around the same time when the raffle should be drawn. Upon the discovery of that block the draw is made.

On average, a block is discovered every 10 minutes or so, but it can skew by a lot, a good example is our first Olympics raffle where it was drawn 9 hours earlier due to multiple blocks being discovered hours apart from each other.

I strongly believe that the lottery is very fair, because I ever get it. probably because a lot of people who never get it, so they were a little suspicious. but indeed, must prove this justice to make people believe and not much to complain about this Raffle.

I received my ticket for today and till now I have 5 tickets in my account. Hopefully one of them will win the next raffle. If I got the first place I'll use it to participate on EPL event. Wish me luck!

I also received my tickets for yesterday betting on Olympics matches and receiving tickets without any issue, maybe you missed to place bet on Olympics matches, that is why you had problem to get your tickets for that lottery.

It must be a bug on the lottery, afaik a user can only get 4 tickets but you have 6 tickets. I think there are many other users have 6 tickets like you and makes the total entries jump so high.
If it is not a bug, so you must be a special player on this site and you get 2 additional tickets but you are so honest here to inform us about it. Appreciate it..

Did you get your bitcointalk name changed recently ? I remember you have a "c" in your name ,not sure where exactly.Anyhow yes its a rule a player can have only 4 tickets ,don't know how you got 6..should report the bug.

I also asked for their support about their server time so i won't miss any lottery ticket they told me sportsbet.io was using utc+3/gmt+3

If you have more than 4 tickets for the next Raffle then it is perfectly fine. It is the compensation from sportsbet to people who miss previous lottery.
Sporsbet's lottery winners are determined by hash of mined blocks and that certain block was mined earlier than expected causing some people to miss previous raffle.

I also have 6 tickets now and sportsbet.io already explain about that. So, we can get maximum ticket for 2nd raffle is 6 tickets ? 2 from the previous raffle and 4 for 2nd raffle ?

In the previous lottery i didn't get the ticket even i have make a bet in that time before the previous lottery done. And the next few days i get 2 ticket but i do not know whether that ticket will count as the current lottery or just counted in the previous lottery.

I think you can check under "my tickets" tab to see on which lottery your tickets are counted. There is also notifications when you received the tickets, didn't you notice it?
