This idea might have worked in 2011/2012. Otherwise it is doomed to failure.
There is no way a mining farm in Canada can compete with the large farms in China. It would be completely unprofitable if it were launching now and given the long timeline will be even worse when it does.
Mining is no longer viable unless you have direct access to ASIC manufacturers and that means you have to be in China. It's sad because it means mining will continue it's inevitable march towards being a purely Chinese domain with the risks that creates for all of us.
Unless you are willing to invest for purely altruistic reasons i.e. to delay the total centralisation of mining in China then there is no point in investing in this.

I just joined the ICO with whatever I had and will purchase a few more on Monday as well, I am going to give this a chance as I believe it does have a future. Also we don't only have to mine Bitcoin as there arAe plenty of altcoins to make profit from mining. CTUAL MNM RECEIVED 21163.06364 MNM

@Soul_eater_123 : We appreciate your opinion and have definitely taken this into consideration. Although, with the constant addition of new algos and new coins to mine, we feel confident that we can stay ahead of the curve and offer a positive ROI to our shareholders. As you may know, MINEUM is not all about ASIC but mainly on GPU. Mining is viable in Canada since we know an ASIC mine located near Montreal who runs for more than 1 year. For the GPU mining, we have been mining with them for about a year and we have always been profitable. Even with a serious increase in mining difficulty, recent and projected numbers show that ROI with this project will happen long before GPU mining is saturated by the Chinese. I hope that we as a community can change your mind.

This is true for Bitcoin. Here, we are talking about alt mining and if you have a good knoledge about the setup of your hardware (and a low electricity cost like in Canada), it's still profitable.

Also we don't only have to mine Bitcoin as there arAe plenty of altcoins to make profit from mining. this is my thought. i mean ya ASCII's are taken over in alot of ways, but i can already picture getting the cards i find online directly shipped to "my rig" and either making a nice day drive to the farm myself to set them up (im within driving distance to Quebec) or paying one of the guys here to set it up . add remote access, and im smiling lord knows the wife's questioning what da fuck i'm REALLY building in the basement anywayz by now ;p

Antho, in the ICO GUI, can you tell me what is the difference between :
1 - The green case on top of the page ("Actual MNM received") 2 - The column "Amount (MNM)" in the exchange table
I haven't the same number ?
Thanks.

So I would like to know what mining equipment you have so I can proportion my investment accordingly At the moment, MINEUM mining equipment contains mostly GTX 970, GTX 960 and GTX 750ti (not just because they're cute, but because they consume almost no electricity). As mention earlier, the Actual Value of our mining gear tend to turn around 20 000 USD$. The exact information will appear once our games/contests will be over But I can say that we have more than 30 GPUs who are mining 24/7

For sure! In Actual MNM received, it is the sum of all "Amount (MNM) available" in the table ! By the way, we realized that we were a bit. A fix has been done, it should be good now
