Many holders SYS have more than 100 k coins required for Masternode because total sys coins is high amount.
In dash minimal coins to run is 1000 coins but more coins in node not make any difference so everybody who have more than 1000 coins must split it to small packs and run many nodes.
In SYS how it works ? Everybody who have more than 100k sys must split it to 100k packs and run few-several masternodes to not lose full reward from coins ? I dont like thats idea like in dash to force everybody to split coins for run Masternodes.
Better if each node (with minimal required ofc) can have all coins one owner and if coins more so more generated profit. Its so many SYS coins that 100k coins for one masternode is to low number for 527 000 000 sys coins. Or make number to 500k or 1 000 000 coins.

These are there to help with securing the Network, processing transactions and other things so if in the case of Sys if you have 1,000,000 in one masternode you are only giving the same benefit to the network as a masternode with 100,000 which isnt the idea. Hope this makes sense and it will be the same for Dash

Well with 1m coins only 888 masternodes possible. So we have to weigh options between creating incentives for more masternodes versus convenience of earning and reducing hosting costs. I think perhaos a hybrid idea may work..  give rewards on some kinda of curve that gives more roi for smaller bonds versus convenience of large bond holders. This way creates incentive for smaller bonds yet at same time allowing those who are willing to give up some roi trading off for some  convenience becomes possible.

Good thought this is certainly possible with our v2 masternode design.

This is a win win if you can afford it, get your 100k now whilst its cheap and if, when the rewards are declared, its not to your liking sell the 100k as the price will surely be much higher than it is now. And since SYS will have ether virtual machine (EVM) ether contacts can be built on top of SYS at a much lower cost and that gas/sys goes exclusively to Masternode holders

Nice to see Syscoin hitting $0.25 I thought it will be stuck to $0.20. The updates looks very promising, maybe this is the reason why all of sudden the price soared to $0.25 and looking forward for this to reach at least $0.50 or more. Filled my bag with more of this and planning to hold longer than my other alts. Anyone who bought last week at $0.15 must have been celebrating.

It seems that Syscoin has some incredible plans for the future, so I am trying to debate if/when to sell. Is this a HODL situation? Or are there significant risks/competitors to worry about? I know this will be a winner, it is just a matter of how big of a winner. Thanks for input.
