I missed the opportunity to sell and now it's tanking...

Everything's going to be tanking again for a while until bitcoin recovers from the recent bad publicity.  It'll come back up, these coins always do.

I hope there is not some other random news tanking all the crypto market ! Pissed by the chinese Gov !

I can see that people returning back to BTC and Alts but SYS is not promising 7 or 8k sats. I would expect it to reach 6k sat until a new product comes out.

What if some one orders say a pair of brand new head phones then claims that they were broken on arrival and sends back an old broken pair that he had before. How will issues and scams be resolved in a decentralized market?

The movement of this coin is very aggressive. If you catch this coin when it is bullish, you will be a happy man. But you must be very careful when it is bearish.
I am one of the plankton investors and I like this coin.I like the idea behind it and the dev. is working hard. But the competitors in the markets are also good.
I hope the fall will stop soon and I think these prices are good for mid and long-term investment.

It was about 8K during the bloodbath(or just before) look how it is now. I don't like it. However, i hodl so future will be good i guess.

Syscoin is very good project and I think everyone will agree but we should really think if time for decentralized marketplace has come? I think no, so we should expect drop in price.

I'm not sure how ready the marketplace is currently but I'd say that the price is tanking because it's slightly stupid to start marketing a unfinished product to the masses. Better wait for the right moment. Using ebay-paypal crap doesn't make zero sense even for an average consumer or seller - the worst system is for some reason the most popular. But not for long!

All is about right timing. I think that masses are not ready for decentralization. I see it everyday. People love banks and centralization. They don't like be responsible for themselves but they want to make other people responsible for them and that gives them a powerful tool to blame everyone but not yourself. I have tried to instruct many of my friends how to use Bitcoin but they said it is to difficult. We love banks, it is easy and user friendly. What I want to say - you can have the best product ready to use but if timing is wrong people won't do that.

So, when will Syscoin finally bottom out again? Or will it be back to 2k after reaching 8k, just to piss off any potential investors for like 12 months? Or was the Blockmarket release so underwhelming that nobody is interested anymore?

Anyway still a lot to happen this year, Syscoin will go up and down but 1$ is a good target for the end of the year.

Better distribution, maybe better communication as well because the team is working good, the roadmap is very promising but apparently something is missing...
Most of us here are holding and still buying at this cheap price but there is still some kind of whales who are dropping lots of Syscoin, even at that price...
