Can you publish on steem under a pseudonym instead of Facebook name? Having trouble changing this...
An account cannot be renamed. There are three ways to create another account directly, all require some use of a cli_wallet. The register bot requires 10 Steem and a public key to create the account with, you can get that either from steem cli_wallet or from an existing BTS account. When you got a cli_wallet and 10 Steem, you can create the account yourself. Use 'help' to get a list of commands, gethelp <command> for a description of the parameters. Or you mine the account yourself, here's a windows guideMy offer for bitcointalk users is another one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1485403.0

Your name Steem...
Will you get into legal trouble with Steam, that online game portal?

smooth may I ask what is the incentive for you to promote steem? Are you now affiliated with the Larimers? It is bizarre given when we first spoke about the state-of-altcoins some many moons ago in 2015, and I had stated that maybe Bitshares and Dan Larimer were credible and you tried to convince me that their mcap was all manipulation and to discourage me from taking them seriously. Now suddenly you jump on their boat and I've noted you stated some where you were able to mine 1+% of the coins during the stealth mining phase. I respected you and followed your lead to admonish ICOs, premines, instanmines, and I would assume that would include stealthmining launches. But in the end, all this did was mess up my own degrees-of-freedom to make my project come to fruition because I was trying to bend over backwards to find a way to fit into that impossible set of requirements. And now after all that, it ends up you don't even follow your own ethics. Hey I am happy with letting the altcoin market be free of Sheriffs. So more power to your newly discovered ethics. I just feel slightly jaded for receiving bad advice from you. I am sorry to bring this out in public, and I must presume you have a good explanation. So I'll await to read your take on this. Thanks. Let me get this right, so you join this Steem community, you become active, write blogs, you will be rewarded with a crypto currency which you can convert to bitcoins?
Which exchange accepts steam power?

Steem power needs to be converted to Steem. Bittrex accepts Steem. The 'catch' is you cannot convert all your Steem power to Steem in one go but at a rate of 1/104 per week. So it would take two years to withdraw all your Steem power. You can earn "Steem dollars" from writing posts. These are liquid and can be converted to Steem - no catch. Steem dollars are pegged to USD and earn interest at 10%pa.

Sounds like some kind of loyalty / reward system in the Web 1.0 days, where you could actually use some reward points to purchase vouchers...the good old days.

In addition to bittrex, blocktrades.us and openledger.info (Bitshares DEX) also trade Steem.
Blocktrades has said they will trade Steem Dollars when they start being distributed in a few weeks. Others probably will too, but none has announced it.

The way i see it, Steam will only become popular if all other websites such as reddit or medium start embracing the concept and use the same backend technology to earn points. Otherwise I think it is difficult for Steam to pick up steam.

It maybe worth your while posting this on Steemit also. As most of the Steem community are there. Nice cover design btw.

Hi DEV Team. In the light of the latest events, I am planning to create a newsplatform on my www.brexitnow.co.uk where journalists can be rewarded in cryptocurrency for writing articles related to #Brexit. I am thinking to use steem.io as financial reward. It could be a gamechanger. So I am thinking to propose you a partnership where we can split the income in STEEM. Please let me know if you see a value in this. Thank you. Gabi

Gabi steem is decentralized and runs on a blockchain. you can do whatever you want with it, there's no need for partnerships. unless you want a deal with the frontend steemit.com though
