Is Tidus already an exchange running in full-business scale or are you still in the testing phase? Is there any trades going on there right now?

Yes, Tidex Exchange, at the moment in the stage of public testing. Also, tomorrow or the day after we are aiming to start the signature campaign. Demo for Tidex Signature campaign What do you think, guys!?

Can someone please explain:
Who are the natural buyers of Steem? Why would anyone buy steem as a speculative investment? I understand that Seem-power may have a utility of up-voting content..
What is the utility of Steem? Is it just a currency? Seems like Steem is constantly being sold, not because of dilution from interest.. but because every new SteemIt user becomes a natural seller, since they get steem for free.
So, what is the incentive or use-case to buy steem or to hold steem? (assuming you need liquidity and dont want to power up? )
Is the only utility of steem its use as an intermediate currency used when powering down which you can then convert to BTC?

afaik new users can't power down the steem they got for free when they created their account, they have to inrease their steem x10 in order to be able to "sell" the "free" steem.

Correct. Slack become unweidly because the community was too large and Slack's 10k message limit meant messages were being deleted almost immediately. So it was moved to the open source (but a bit less user-friendly IMO) rocket chat platform.

steem keeps going down. Too much selling pressure. Busy.org is a shame too originally, I thought Busy.org is better than Steemit. However, after trying Busy.org, I prefer the steemit's interface. Honestly, I don't see much difference between Busy.org and steemit
Can someone tell me why I should buy steem again now?
thank you

short answer: read Dan Larimer's blog and think about what you read. https://steemit.com/@danthemanYeah, it takes time but investing without wide and deep research is just casino :-) steem keeps going down. lost allot of $$$ on steem, screw this ponzi! The steemit bubble has bursted, steemit brought in free money into the space without real understanding of how the inflation rate would affect the the market, it is a well conceived idea but the structure design is faulty
