"meaning this user didn't wanna to expose the volume she handled" REALLY?  Everything I have done on this forum is public information everyone knows about the BitBay scandal and I have nothing to hide. I honestly don't have access to those wallets anymore if I did I would be getting my account back I assure you..

As an older member she should know that need to proctet her account last hack attemp werent long time ago, makes no sense just after the account get sold the supost real owner come here asking for it back,as i said refund my bitcoins and i refund your account ,is the most fair thing i can do for you now.

Incorrect - you should have realised that the "staking" was only done very recently and her account was years old (it took me all of 1 minute to work that out).

You still proceeded with buying the account despite the fact that you should have known that it was very likely that it had been hacked.

You have no moral ground on which to walk upon as I have shown.

Just give up and give her back her account would be the right thing to do (for sure you can call out the asshole that sold you the account to make sure that they can't do that under the same name again).

You lost some BTC but the reason you lost it is because you didn't want to just create a new account and wait like everyone else (so you actually deserve to have lost some BTC for doing so).

Look i saw all adress connected to the account but just one of them were staked as being the adress in use, even without any transaction, meaning this user didnt wanna to expose the volume she handled i had research the account and i hired a escrow to make this clean,as i said i can refund the account as long her or someone refund me the 0,075btc i had paid for it ,i made the transaction legit as the forum rules,im victim here as her .Even when i dont get till the moment why this acusation just started after the payment been sent to the seller. And sure i will red tag the seller making that account invalid to any deal.

I told you once and i will tell you for the last time i dont care about those,if you real own such adress you had already recover this account and i would be taking the loss ,and i should take this mistake as a future lesson, wanna this account back pay what i had paid for it as you said 0.075 isnt nothing soo big if i were in you situation i would had already paid for it as my account has value atleast for me.And enought you can keep posting as others but i will let the main decision to admin, till there this account stays with me,thanks all for your feedback and positions ,this a free forum where anybody can post their opinions.

You aren't going to get anything back from this account as I am going to make sure it has zero value (try as hard as you like but I am going to make sure that you can't make one cent from this account).

Sorry but don't do this shit in the future (i.e. don't buy accounts).

This is not about opinions but about assholes (which you have shown that you are).

If you don't want to look like an asshole then don't buy accounts.

what is use of staking bitcoin address here
my address is
16K7dX8QWaxiuEcE9jpCF8ecSYdcWmLN7X

To end this chat i will sleep well as i didnt buy an account without staked message and adress even not being the oldest adress connected to the account its the proof of a legit transaction.

But the person you paid was not the OP was it?

So where is the person that you paid for this account?

The only person that might owe you anything is the asshole that you bought the account from (but you knew that you were buying a hacked account anyway so really I don't think anyone cares much about your loss - your lesson is one that needs to be learned by others here to stop this kind of rubbish from repeating).

I wont reply to any other message here if the admins will act here i will follow their instructions  ,to the supost real owner that might been hacked if you dont wanna to wait to admin position just contact me to refund me and i will restore your account without any problem, have a nice day ,already wasting my time talking when i had proof of a legit transaction here.

i would hope this account stays flagged.  I have to agree with CIYAM here man, you participated in shady shit like buying an identity (old ass accounts are like identities most the time and easily seen in this scenario)   you do zero research on said account showing you did not care where it came from. all to find a back way into participating in some sig campaigns, have you no shame or sense man?
you should give the account back, no questions asked. you played a shady game and lost. end of story.
account buying is a shady game.
and no , "we" don't make the rules, but the trust system isn't modded either, so expect to keep the red flag.

There are several old members here that stayed away from bitcointalk and then returned soo your imagination is out of being realistic.I had paid someone, that for me were the real owner that wanna to leave the forum as some people had already made that and sold their account soo your questions keeps making no sense, and i agree just one thing the security level need to be higher, 2fa its a must since people are getting scammed all days and this must stop.So no longer hackers can take advantage of the accounts and make a fake sell to others and come complaint latter,in not saying this happend here but its the second thing here that hapened already ,the accoung get sold and the supost real owner comes to get it back.

You paid someone who only provided a staked address that was very recent (for an account that was very old).

Either you are just stupid or what?

Do you seriously think that the forum should support people as stupid as you?

(I don't)

Again *idiot* why did you not just create a new account?

(yes - you have failed to answer that question at least 3 times already)

Just give the account back.... you've made plenty of money doing this to other accounts. Its obvious the real owner isn't who you thought it was, that's not the account owners mistake, its yours. I doubt you would even give the account back if you were paid. Nobody is going to trust you enough to send you anything for this account. The account will be useless and there is no reason to hold onto it.

I think it is interesting to see this kind of asshole at work.

He must have many such other accounts - perhaps some research should be done about those.

(yes - you stupid fucker I am going to ruin all of your bought accounts - so if you want to keep on attacking me then bring it on)

You bought an account and feel taken advantage of?  I view buying an selling of accounts as shady I'm surprised people are willing to escrow them to be honest.  You really should raise an account of your own... yes it takes much longer.

You really have two options you can give account back and look like a "good guy" for what it's worth.  Or you can try get money back that most likely will not happen and you have a account with negative forever.    Honestly you are best off giving it back to original owner and just stay away from buying accounts.

Honestly I appreciate all of the support from you guys. I really didn't think this was going to go very well when I posted.
I thought it would end up being a bash Cassie troll fest, but I was wrong. Even if I don't get the account back I'm starting to feel better about the community I once loved. I really haven't been all that active because of the shady shit that goes down and its really gotten hard to be able to vet and gauge good and bad around here..

Honestly exactly what went on with your account is probably not going to be determined (but it could well have been hacked and that does seem to be the most likely thing).

The person now in control of the account has basically admitted that they did not do any due diligence about said account and have realised that they have screwed up (although they are yet to admit it entirely).

Unfortunately if you don't have a way to prove prior ownership of the account then there is really no solution here so perhaps you'll need to accept your new forum name (or create another one).

It is understandable to be upset over losing a name but also you need to realise that your password must not have been very good (otherwise your account would not have been hacked).

It seriously sucks, there was allot of information on that account that I actually use lol. Like how to get the flex src for cam4btc to compile so I can relaunch the cam site. That's actually how I figured my account was hacked.. I was looking back on some older messages because I am having problems building the source so I can change the ip to a new server.

Now i'm kinda screwed. I guess that's a lesson learned always keep hard copies of important messages and docs...

Incorrect - you should have realised that the "staking" was only done very recently and her account was years old (it took me all of 1 minute to work that out).
The thing is, some accounts are bought and sold very quickly, usually by account farmers who will buy an account, do some posting and rank it up, then sell it as soon as possible. It doesn't seem that strange (at least to me) to see an old account have a new staked message and be sold off after a few months.

Don't lose faith.  At some point the community will band together and ostracize these account buyers/sellers that are a cancer to bitcointalk.
I suppose I should stop escrowing these kinds of trades. Or at least make my fees something ridiculous for account trades.

And I think escrows need to show character like yours and not escrow account sales.   As really the person escrowing account does not know if it was farmed or hacked, they are taking word of someone who chances are is shady with selling accounts.

I think getting rid of escrows will slow it down.  With it being ok to buy/sell they will always be there.  But no escrow will slow it down.

I have already caved Sad I sent him a message asking to buy the account back for half of what he paid.
I guess there is nothing else I can do since Theymos and the admin are keeping quiet about the subject...

Don't do it Theymos; it's a tramp trap!

I couldn't resist.

You made me laugh. I think she is one good looking girl with nice shape`s Smiley

After this topic account that account will not worth same like in beginning. Now it have a red negative, probably banned from some campaign.
I also don`t like that buying and selling accounts. I noticed so many scams here in meta section, people should pay more attention on reading and learning then on earning.

I wish you good luck Cassie and next time be more careful with your account.

The admins usually keep quiet about it, until they say that they have reset the password/email. Just wanted to point out that the new owner's writing seems a lot like knowhow's, who has bought many account before.
PM you got:
Quote
Hi there i see you are online i had done everything right signed message from the adress staked, soo i believe will be hard for you recover this account,i dont wanna to hit or anything related to your business, there is several pm here i havent changed nothing,if you able to make the payment to recover your previous account let me know we can use escrow. When i bought this account i had used escrow soo we can use the same person and you get back your account and me my bitcoins spent as this account, let me know your opinion.

One of knowhow's recent posts:
There is a store I sometime shop at that takes BTC. http://www.mission-market.net/

It's out of the way for me most of the time. But whenever I'm in the area I stop by and buy a Sandwich or soda.

They also have a store by angel stadium that also has a bitcoin ATM.

Well its good to see some companies working with bitcoin soo for you ,if you in the area thats your point were you would go because they work with bitcoin, that makes the difference for sure, how about the prices are similiar the market but converted into bitcoins?I hope one day i can walk do the same as you be able to spend some bitcoins.
Both use soo, the commas are placed similarly and notice the no spaces after ending punctuation (?,.)
This isn't solid proof, but if someone did something similar to what was done with Quickseller and Panthers52, I'm sure they would be very similar.

Good luck getting your account back.

taking a break - expect delayed responses
