I'm really poor at that. I can't get more than a week what I just earned Cheesy ! It generally goes to some gambling Tongue...

It takes time and practice to be good at managing money, even a experienced one has a problem managing money, it's a continuous process and learning... I too before when I receive my salary it didn't last before the next one arrive,  but the time I experienced having no budget for few days and some of my co employees with smaller salary still has a budget, I started to make a budget myself to make my money last long...  Smiley
You can start practicing with a little amount of your income and if you will succeed there is a good chance you will succeed for bigger amount..It takes a lot of discipline to do it and it is good if you start to learn when you are still a teenager so when you are working and having your own family it would be easy for you.

This is a good way to start to save and manage to teach yourself. What I am doing is whenever I am receiving money, 20% of it was already separated and the rest are the ones who are being used for the important things only. Don't spend for the things that you don't need and you only wanted to have that, because you are not spending and managing your money well.

While we are all here on this forum to earn one way or another, how well do you manage that money after you've earned it. Do you trade your Bitcoin as fast as you can spending it all in a day or do you save it? I recently got paid for a job I did in programming and i keep finding myself wanting to spend more of that money i made. I have a lot of credit card debt and that is not good. I have destroyed only two ofg my credit cards to which I owe thousands of dollars on.

how do you spend your money?
i think i am best and successful in the case of managing money . i usually saved one third of my earning into saving wallet and second one third to grow bitcoin work and third one third is use by me to make the life happy with joyful things .
so i think i am.managing my money in better way .

If you are the best and successful manager of money, had you tried to create your own service or company that offers financing managing services.

For sure that is going to give you good profit out of managing other people's money it is just going to depend on how you are going to manage it.

You will just become a personal savings bank.

Then i guess you should start changing that habit  Tongue , Playing to entertain your self is not bad but putting all your payouts to something like gambling you should try to spend that one on buying foods XD.

Always, we list down the requirements. Prioritize the urgent ones. Complete the tasks. If in case something is left, then save them. I usually keep 20% of my salary for an emergency expenses, it can be for medicals or can be for purchasing unexpected things. My spouse at times sits with me and brings out plans for saving a percentage of my salary.
It's good you have a partner in life that knows how to manage your finances. Me, my wife and I cannot agree on how to manage our finances because I am not earning well in my day job, but we have kids that we are sending to school and that implies expenses as well, thanks to bitcoin it gives me an opportunity to earn in different ways.
Everyday we do hear people say good things about bitcoin just as you mentioned that bitcoin is now helping your family to solve the problems. Just continue to have faith in bitcoins and most of your problem if not all will be solved through the power of bitcoin ecosystem hopefully very soon. May God bless you all.

I'm good as i can save some bucks to buy when i crave for food that i want. I can also save money for long term to buy a new gadget for myself. It's really hard to manage money because you have many things first to manage your money wisely.
I think we need to know where the needs and desires, you should be able to limit the costs you spend on what you want, I know it will be difficult but if you can manage it, you can become rich

Planning a budget is the best way to manage your money.
A simple Excel spreadsheet to add the total of your necessary expenses- food, rent, car, etc.
can be such a good tool. I was terrible at managing my money until I sat down and actually listed the things I absolutely had to pay for.
Then you will realize the difference between WANT and NEED.

Remember the Second Noble truth of Buddhism-
Life is suffering. The direct causes of suffering is desire.

I really have to manage them better because as of lately I've made some not wise financial decisions and I need to organize right now in order to get on track and I truly believe that this is an aspect everyone should master because if you can't manage your money someone else will and in my case that meant I had to give money for something which didn't bring me any real value

As a guide maybe you can start with your budget. With your budget, write all of your expenses and source of income. In a week you can review it and also in every month. There you will find what bigger chunk of expenses go. Slowly you can minimize your expenses and start saving.

Having   budget plans  and cost cutting would   really be a  best  idea  to observe your expenses  on a month and as  you mentioned if you saw that  theres a big   expense for some   things  on your budget then thats the  time we would  lessen  it  in order to balance  all expenses and  you would able to save if  youare really good  on managing your money.

That's the way on how to discipline yourself, you need to have a budget and you have to stick with it. By treating is like your own business you are more concern on the profitability hence you will control your spending and maximize your income to achieve your goal.

Managing money  would be  easy  if  you do obliged your self to do such thing. Managing  money   could be done   on making a  budget  list   on all expenses and  all bills  on a particular month , listing your salary minus  your expenses then  dont forget to put up some  amounts  on your saving for future  uses on emergencies and  investments.

Well, that's how you should do it because it will defeat the purpose of managing your money well if you will not be able to follow what is written in your budget list.. You need to have the discipline to follow it so you will be successful, some just failed because they let the temptation get in their lives and we know it will ruin our budget plan.

You get compile such lists, and execute them? I just did it a few times and I could not go beyond the amounts that have been scheduled. It is actually very difficult. I'm not making these lists, I even do not know exactly how much money I have

Oh, I have that same problem. So I give my money to his wife and she controls them. She turns it much better than me.

Yes indeed, been there done that Smiley

As we know, managing money or your earnings it revolves around a budget. Much better to have a budget planning and plotting future expenses o your overhead. But somes it is our behavior to think how to budget, when do not have funds already Cheesy

We have the same attitude and this is what I am doing in the long run and I'm happy that I am able to call myself as good money manager.

Because I'm valuing the money that I have and budgeting it properly. Just learn to value the money that passes on your hands.

For sure it can help you to be a good manager of your money.
