Advice, tips, speculation please.
Hold about half in a mixture of different places. Invest some in altcoins (if it interests you). Invest some in pending on sites such as btcjam.com. As an almost reliable investment I'd suggest investing in reputable gambling sites such as bitvest or primedice.
Probably for current the best step is hold, the investment in altcoin highly risky, lending investment not recommendations because too many account banned without apparent reasons. I think 10 btc on hold and 2 btc you can use for gambling.

Altcoins is great but lending is not, with altcoin trading you can always see an opportunity to grow it in a short period of time, and if you are lucky enough, you can always participate in the ICO where it could possibly give you a good return of investment more than a 100%.
Investing in ICO is also a risky investment as you never know whether it will be a scam ICO or not as i have seen some scams before. Diversify your investments and trading and gambling are the only option to grow your coins.

Please don't include gambling in your plan if you are planning of investment, you must not just hold your bitcoins but you have to diversify and only invest on what you think you have the knowledge as that can be use as your advantage to succeed. Trading, and holding your bitcoins are just the same, the only difference is the one is for short term and the other is for long term, whatever you come up, just do it with proper caution.

every investment got risk, it is just the matter of small risk or big risk, investing in ICO is very risky because you don't know what can be happened to your coin, and trading need skill, trading is not an investment and gambling is not an investment, the best investment for me is to invest in casino, not guarantee that it can earned profit but at least most of the investment in casino earned profit

I think he meant investing in gambling sites and not gambling itself. Unless I wrote my initial post wrong.

Altcoins is great but lending is not, with altcoin trading you can always see an opportunity to grow it in a short period of time, and if you are lucky enough, you can always participate in the ICO where it could possibly give you a good return of investment more than a 100%.

Investing in an ICO is indeed a bad idea.
Firstly, there's the problem the coin may not exist or the coin may fall in value.
Secondly, you don't know the full structure of the coin, such as if the developer has the ability to inflate the coin (generating their own coin to sell).
Thirdly, there have been multiple clients produced that are rigged with viruses to steal other data from your computer such as the Bitcoin data file (I would've fallen for that for one coin but used an online exchange to store the coins anyway.

Hmm. I highly doubt this because it is easy to spend it.

Well Ico could be a choice, but of course some research need to be done.

Or else

Try trading over the margins of currencies instead of holding them on Poloniex.

Since you have 12 btc, i would suggest taking 0.05 btc as your initial budget and try and learn how to identify the trends so you can profit by margin trading. The leverage is 2.5 so the profit could be huge, but of course, losses applied too.

I don't doubt it. Hr could have bought or earnt it. It's much easier to store than to spend anyway.

Ok. I'm not asking a lot from the both of you, just read the previous 5 posts to yours and the OP to post more constructively (not too much to ask, just get the general tone of discussion first).

There are countless possibilities. If you ask me, I would not sell this too soon, nor would I trade for cheap alts. On the other hand, I would hold on for a while. There is also another possibility that does not require you to sell your coins, which is the lending business, but you need to acquire knowledge in the area before investing.

You have a chance to trade your coins, but you may go with an option of holding them for a long time as the price is going too high, so investing them anywhere currently is a risk as most sites may run away with your money, or they might decrease your return amounts based on price increase.

As we see, holding and waiting is the best method, we are now heading towards 900 dollars per coin. We went from 765 to 830 in a matter of days... just buy more bitcoin and keep holding, is really that easy, don't try to play on the alt market because you will most likely get scammed by those damn shitcoins.

don't invest in anything if you have not any experience, and mainly in altcoin or ico those are all scams, the best investment is to just keep your coin until bitcoin will have a very high price, and it look like the case s here just hold

I've been through read his post to check how he manage 12btc and looks like he got that amount by gambling from $300 to $5000 within 3 days, what unbelievable winnings on gambling, you can trust or not but I think he is trusted due to the evidences he had shown.
Unfortunately, Op account not active anymore almost a month, so we can't say for sure how much btc he hold now.
He has chosen to gamble and trading, just buy and sell.

I greatly disagree with this. I would not suggest not gambling at all, I'd suggest you try to invest with small amounts (using up no more than 0.01BTC in total for investments) and to optionally gain knowledge on how to invest successfully.

It doesn't matter if he's trusted, I'm not sure many people will care if he has 12BTC or 12mbtc because that is irrelavent. There is also no reason why he would lie and say he had such amount as 12BTC is a lot to some and a small amount to others (some members here have 1000BTC or more - that's a minority though).

It's a good gambling strategy though to have.

Invest it in different things to prevent the amount of loss as much as possible like in altcoins ,gambling site or Lending bitcoin with collaterals just be search to research throughly on what kind it is but if you don't want high risky things then just keep it because bitcoins price fluctuate everyday so it is highly possible that the price will increase as the time pass by .

That is good idea, but I think gambling and lending bitcoin is just to risky. The best way is invest in defferent ICO. So he will get monthly payment. If he have trading skill he can get significant profit by that amount of bitcoin.

didn't betking stop accepting investments a couple of weeks ago?
and anyways, this method of investment is not the best method of investing bitcoin in my opinion because it is still tightly connected to gambling and the risk is still live because the same way somebody lost 20-30BTC on betking he can win 20-30BTC too and him winning means you losing.

No one will be able to give you the best answer. You can hold it or sell it. You may trade alts for btc. Trading is quite risky business. Trader may loose all of his btc or may gain a good profit. Based on his luck and market analysis. It is always a 50/50 chance of making good profit or great lose. You will just waste your time here by asking this sort of question. Time is money. So do  your own research. Do not invest all of your capital into same basket. That is my opinion to you.
