I'm really sick and tired of people getting scammed. Here is my challenge to PrimeASIC:
You say that you have 500 units of your custom designed ASICS. I challenge you to do the following:
1.) Create an account on BTCGuild and post your user#
2.) Mine with atleast 5 units (I'm asking you to prove you have 1% of your current stock and that your units can sustain 80 gh/s) for a minimum of 24 hours. All proceeds must be donated towards bitcointalk.org (the donation must be confirmed by a admin / moderator) minus any reasonable costs for power usage.
3.) Post that information back here on the forums.
If you meet these conditions, I will not only apologize for my accusations but I will buy several of your units. If you cannot meet these conditions, I will do everything that is within my power to stop you attempting to scam this community.
You have 5 business days to respond.
Sincerely,
A very tired and fed up bitcointalk member.
P.S This post has been PMed to PrimeASIC.

Has anybody called the police??? Fraud is a crime. If these people are found to be trying to con others out of thousands of euro surely the fraud squad would be interested.

who said they won't? They could easily be one of the two experienced integrators that might be picking up the 28Nm ASIC being made in europe

so i have called an apparently competent person at HRP.hu via phone.
he was hearing from me for the first time that this company lists his address on their homepage and he will be investigating it.
he has never heard of this brand. it is also very unlikey that they are using his company as a distributor because they only distribute for 7 big brands: dell, samsung, kyocera, star, hitachi, toshiba, asus. my request was immediately escalated onto his boss who will make sure their brand is not damaged by a possible scammer.
current scam-o-meter: raised from 90% to 99,5%

We just see Gmail's main servers IP (Mountain View - California)

DUE TO OVERWHELMING REQUESTS we had to remove PayPal & Local Pickup options. There are already orders for more than 300 of the 500 units available. We will be giving everyone a 30 min. window for local pickups and testing, but we are already booked for the whole next week! Next batch will have PayPal and Local Pickup again. Previous orders will be processed. they postet som hours ago.... We will see what happens I bord 20pcs, and yes I have enough money and nothing to loos So I risked a try.
