As tittle says will amazon accept bitcoins in the future?
in my opinion in the some of incoming year Amazon will accept as an payment for iys online product because some of sites are providing a payment indirectly for Online shopping site so probably there is chance to accept payment in bitcoin . |

Not sure if amazon will be accepting bitcoin in the future because bitcoin does not provide chargebacks which is kind of a requirement for amazon customer protection.
But we might see it happen in the future anyways with some kind of middle man service where amazon receives the money first.

Yes the most people are thinking this and I also think that this will happen but its of course also the question when they will. I really hope they will do this fast.. The problem their priority is customer protection since bitcoin have no reverse payment or any protection if they are buy any item in amazon,, So for me no its impossible right now that amazon will accept payment in bitcoin. |

I can see a fair chance for that they will accept BTC on Amazon. Steam was always among the first adaptors of innovation and now they are accepting BTC for our common good. They have been fine with accepting it so far so we have an example and I see reason why web shops should adapt BTC, after all.

I really think that in some point in the future Amazon will have to accept bitcoins, after all Amazon it’s a business if they can make money out of it, then they will end up accepting it as a form of payment.

I can see a fair chance for that they will accept BTC on Amazon. Steam was always among the first adaptors of innovation and now they are accepting BTC for our common good. They have been fine with accepting it so far so we have an example and I see reason why web shops should adapt BTC, after all.
Steam has made the same thing as namecheap, both as i know provide just digital services or products, amazon its anothers marketplace, sure they can try and make the same as namecheap co-work with bitcoin with a third companie taking the bitcoins and getting the credit in dollars or euro the currency they use. |

Amazon will probably be accepting bitcoin in the future but I don't think in the near future though because you can't chargeback bitcoin and one of amazons main points is buyer seller protection what they can't provide now.
So until there's a system and idea in place they won't accept it yet.

If Amazon starts accepting bitcoin in the future, guess what. I'm still going to be using my debit card linked to my bank account. It's much easier and I don't have to go out of my way to buy bitcoin just to spend it. And then have to deal with tax consequences of buying bitcoin and spending it and paying taxes on what I bought, etc. That's complete bullshit, and this is why bitcoin isn't being used as a currency.

Amazon will probably not be accepting bitcoin in the NEAR future because we haven't read about any plans and these things take time to happen.
Also bitcoin goes against amazons policies which is a big no no, on the other hand steam accepts it though so maybe amazon would too.

Possibilities are always their since bitcoins have wide market since bitcoin have many users globally and i dont really doubt if they will accept bitcoin because it can make their service fast,secured and less fee unlike the current processor they are accepting now but i think they are in studying phase for now since bitcoins are not really stable and in other hand surely they will try to look up for it since steam already accepts it as their mode of payment.

I think amazon will not accept bitcoin even in the future because their priority is costumers protection and bitcoin has no dispute or reverse payment.. unlike paypal that they can reverse payment or refund if the product is not good.
This is a very good point what alot of people overlook, maybe Amazon wants to accept bitcoin but it's just not possible for them. Atleast steam did it already and I am not sure if Ebay did but they should since alot of people who use their platform also use bitcoin. |

I cannot possibly believe that such thing will be a problem for a giant like Amazon; they could use a third party to take bitcoin while they receive payment in whatever currency that they may like |

Yes I have the full trust that they will accept the bitcoin in the future because the bitcoin gets bigger and it will be used as a currency more.
Due to that I have the trust it will be accepted by Amazon later.

Dell, microsoft, steam already accept them and why amazon isn't? you're correct about the volatility but it's not about their business. amazon is needed for securing their member, amazon is not like the another currency like microsoft or steam but amazon is the platform used by a lot of people and it's a part from the amazon. |

I think Amazon will be forced by it's competition in the future to accept bitcoin as payment method. If they don't then a lot of people would rather buy on a different playform that does accept bitcoin.
They wouldn't let this happen since it would be a money loss for them so I think they will accept it sooner or later.

It would be a good deal for Bitcoin if Amazon is going to accept Bitcoin as a payment at there webshops because they are a big company and they have a large audience.
This would for sure boost the popularity of the Bitcoin without question.

Bitcoin will be accepted in about every online shop in a few years for sure cause alot of shops will be joining the payment method like steam already and then the other shops will feel forced to do it aswell causing a chain effect letting them all accept bitcoin.
Bitcoin gets accepted in most online stores as quoted by the above mate, but upon my view as few users described amazon will take time to analyze deeply, as fluctuations at times make big margin variation in the business view. Also it doesn't give a payback guarantee. Once when we get such access with bitcoin sure in a short amazon accept bitcoin as well other digital currencies. |
