My case was for syncing the wallet, not for running the synced wallet Big difference. Any synced, even the crappiest wallet can run on weaker system than yours.
Close your wallet and open it few days later so you will need to catch up with the network. Then post here a screenshot. I can bet you will have problems catching up with the network.
This is not the first wallet running on my computer. But with this wallet I set a negative time record when syncing.
I was able to sync ethereum wallet much faster from scratch, even when it's network was under heavy attack, then this wallet with only a couple of thousands block behind - on same computer.
Im sorry for that, maybe next post just below yours (#1574) gave me this feeling.. Anyway Its no problem for me to do that test especially for you, and I can sacrifice few GB coins not mined by my wallet during test (wallet ofline) Ok will start now, how many days you saying 3,5, 7? Regards I took a break and switched off my wallet for 6 days as I said will do. (Specification of this crap comp you can find in post #1579 (page before)) Wallet connect to the network without any problems, have 49 active connection right now. As you can see on attached picture wallet take some time but I can not tell how long exactly syncing take, as i left it over night so in the morning after 10 hours wallet was running up to date when checked again. Also don't take all this crap resources to process this hard syncing process so I can't complain and this is proof that don't need really 16gb of memory and octa-core processor I hope this somehow helps. photo And this is what I have in my GoldBlocks.conf file: rpcuser=USER rpcpassword=PASS rpcport=26920 port=27920 server=1 listen=1 daemon=1 rescan=0 reindex=0 defaultkey=1 logtimestamps=1 maxconnections=100 verifychain=0 dns=1 rpcthreads=50 addnode=192.157.212.234 addnode=192.157.212.235 addnode=104.247.200.168 addnode=5.189.180.41 addnode=45.78.158.57 addnode=5.189.189.51 addnode=104.236.109.222 addnode=159.203.249.92 addnode=62.162.162.94 addnode=45.249.89.180 Thats it. your 'speed' comes from not rescanning - not reindexing - not verifying - on every startup of the wallet ... not reliable in my world - especially if you need to make sure you have a decent blockchain copy ( like a node for example ) ... but overall - nice work mate ... #crysx Yes but normally there is no reason why wallet should reindexing or rescanning every time if there no issue with files and your computer is operating normally i think, without BSODs for example or manipulations on wallet files.

You did a nice job, thanks. However I was right GB wallet, 1 week behind is syncing approx. 8-9 hours. Other wallets on my computer with 1 week behind on average they catch up with network in 30-45 min. The last comparable wallet (POW/POS) i had almost 2 months behind, I was able to sync in roughly 3 hours with other things doing on computer at the same time. And BTW I'm curious if you are a solo miner with all that RPC commands in your config file?

My friend whose wife I took, told me goldcoin has a ton of thick happenings capable of turning the entire crypto world upside down. I logged in to my account and got my ass over here. Sadly what I see now is not what I was looking for, two oldbie fuckos and retired dude from campton with chronic liver disease enjoy having convo with void, nothing else is really happening.

so what happened to the exchange possibility of gb to real gold? There are no more infos in the first Post of the thread....
You may ask GB marketing company, they manage that, as they manage whole GB MLM marketing and finances. http://youtrustmedia.de/enI think you should rethink that relationship as they are not actually doing anything positive for the future of the coin, other than charging for their service. All there site says (in German *ONLY* ?? Ummm, html internationalization folks !!) is that we need to exchange it to BTC to do anything with it. They do all the marketing and pay me for silence so I will refrain from bashing them this time. Its not my place to interfere in someones business when I get paid. Its not only me, they also pay others to keep them shut. In addition to this they profit off the MLM pyramid, which is exactly what keeps goldblocks prices stable and attractive to newcomers.

In my config file, I only have active nodes and command: Listen=1 (for accepting connections from outside). Make your config file simple(and great) again.

Wallet buggy needs to be fixed, killing CPU or crashing. No good nodes for syncing so out of sync.

I don't really have any issues with the wallet but if the errors can be reproduced, then we should get it fixed. Also, maybe looking into adding a masternode system to GB would help with providing syncing services? Might be something we could fund development of as a community, I know I would be interested.

Upgrade your hardware running that wallet to at least Haswell platform with core i5 CPU and 16gb of ram and your wallet will be ok
