Without fixed GB price for gold blocks this is not gold backed coin. Sure you have gold but GB is not baked with it.
... so if you want this to succeed than rethink your strategy or it'll end like just another...

What a fail. You are charging $110 for a 1g gold bar that you can get anywhere else for $55. So you make double the profit and give
the buyer  500 GB coins which are worth 0.007 btc or about $5! So basically we are paying $105 for a $55 1 gram gold bar. LOL
Good luck with that business strategy. I think I'll open a gold store and charge double what anyone else in the world does, makes sense.
Well I guess if GB price went up by a factor of 11X you would break even, but I wouldn't hold my breath for that.

I don't think this is a fail by any means.  The DEV has worked his ass off and done everything he said he would to this point in time.  Also, the website is up and looks great.  But, I do think there are a few wrinkles to iron out here.
#1  The price is too high.  This def needs to be lowered and fluctuate with the price of GB and Gold.
#2  Why not be able to buy Gold with just GB coins?  This would guarantee the price of GB coins to rise and stay steady.

About GB price on the market, i am not worried at all, thats free stockmarket, but thats makes coin stronger then before. However this is just one month old coin.
We just started with shops. Everything until now, was based on hype, but everything from now on will be based on real orders, cash,dollars, bitcoins, gold, and believers.

A few days old coin and everyone jumping on it like its end of the world. How many coins out there have any usability right now? In 1 month the coin has a good wallet with Gold prices and now the website. All promises are being full filled. Strategy and pricing can always be altered as time goes depending on the market and how it reacts.

Darkgold I think you should have hyped it for a few years, gave a few press articles without an end product and maybe even mess up and suggest a hard fork. Then people in here will be satisfied and happy.

I think the math on the gb that we get for purchase of actual gold needs to be looked at. I know you need to profit, but to get the ball rolling you need to be closer to fare value. X10 gb more than now would be closer to true value. even 7x to 9x more gb would give you profit and then buying at market would start to pay off for all. love the site by the way! when gb is ready for gold purchase will the gold pricing be closer to true gold value + profit + shipping, since buying with gb won't include gb bonus?

Hello Everyone, just woke up.

I totally agree with the constructive points here taken by our good community members.
The price of the gold bars is almost double we can get anywhere else so yes that must be addressed because it would be easier for me to buy 55/60 bucks worth of gold and then go and buy 40 bucks worth of GB off the exchanges, it would make me better off.

1. So This is what I was thinking, just an idea, some input.  Gold to be sold at competitive prices so you can get repeat sales from us customers.

2. Give every buy a nominal amount of GB as a thank you token of support say 200 GB per gram.

3. Use a small portion of the profits to burn another 200 GB off the exchanges, making it rarer.

I don't know if others would agree but that is something that would make this coin skyrocket with regular buyers and support.   

After breakfast will post all the news on fb, just need the gold prices adjusted and maybe the community's ideas put into some perspective.

It is already less than in a week,~6 days and 14 hours.
This event will increase the price of a coin or use of hashrate will depreciate.

Ok i agree in some part, but please consider that you are not buying just gold, but you are also getting goldblocks shares in that package you choose. Money you pay will go to exchange to buy GB for you and to support price. Imagine how price of GB on exchange will behave after 20 orders. We hardly can buy GB coins to send you with money order amount you paid. Just look at the sell orders, people only selling amount of 141.631 GB's. So if there is 20 orders at once, we, as company will be in great loss because we must buy GB's for customer at price that will skyrocket to 0.01 BTC per 1 GB. However, this early, we are not trying to make profit, with this move we are trying just to build trust with at least loss.
GB you stake will grow over time, Gold per gram also grows on the world stock markets, so there is no chance buyers to loose. If buyes can wait long enough, profit is guaranteed.
After your reaction we decided to double the reward of GB for purchased package for now (check website), more over, for buyers who, after receiving gold make a video of himself holding received 24K Gold card with printed GoldBlocks, will receive another batch of GoldBlocks as bonus for video.
