Laser and I are patiently analysing DEXes: how to list Forty Two, and how to trade. Heads up, campers: start thinking about the new trading-pairs this will put us into.

EDIT: Shall we make this thread 'home base'? That is, I see AI bots spamming and trolling hard and fast across other channels.One community shut both its irc and Slack for this reason -- over-run!

And I've been deleting them from our Telegram thread -- so you don't see them. But they have increased in number.

My point is: it's gonna get much worse.

• add link to prohashing.com block explorer;
• QR Codes support for Windows;
• release binaries no longer compressed, should works faster;
• builds for Win, MacOS and Linux now only with with bdb, for android - with leveldb;
• minor bugs fixes and security updates.

Just for the record: exchange-listings:

Well, I will patiently follow our dev's lead.

What I want to ask about is the development notion that exchange-listings are pretty much all you need. It would be fine to see members researching 42-coin acceptance in a community. It would be fine to see some well-written articles appear in the press.

And okay, I agree: a listing should bring some volume -- but not without effort on our part. 42 coiners would need to drive volume to. Well, shouldn't we practise this on the trading-pairs we already have? It wouldn't cost us anything to increase Cryptopia volume by 1000%. We could put volume on the ETH pair on Livecoin. We can invest energy on Nova.

Finally, centralised exchanges are no longer the pivot of crypto development. DEXes are the future, and I'd like to see members investing energy to understand these.

tl;dr: yes, a paid exchange-listing; but it's not that simple, we have other work to do.

Upgrade instructions?  My guess is to

start new 42 wallet,
let it sync,
close wallet,
replace wallet.dat file with previous verson's backup of wallet.dat file,
restart new wallet?

1. Close the wallet.
2. Replace 42-qt with the new one.
3. Run the wallet.

No issues with this version and replacing the *.exe is so easy. If any 42 noobs need any help or even have a question about 42, life or the wallet please send me a pm !!  my 42 thanks to lasergun and his 42 crew !!
