Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency?

Which altcoin had better features demanded by masses

Not yet. And not in the Bitcoin Discussion forum. Watch Altcoin forums. I will not make another statement about it here in Bitcoin Discussion as that would be off-topic. I merely wanted to put some teeth behind the idea that Bitcoin is not invincible. Now I better STFU and code.

Yes it could happen but i doubt very much it will happen the short to medium term, to actually make bitcoin obsolete would be a achievement.

Are you sure, it could happen in future, because i don't think that it will be happened, What the benefit for Bitcoin in it?
Secondly, now Bitcoin is a brand name, if bitcoin name change and make another name, so it will create difficulties for bitcoin,
and on the other hand, if Bitcoin will be change from cryptocurrency into Fiat currency or an other cryptocurrency.
So what the benefit from Bitcoins?
Now Bitcoin is already successful brand.

bitcoin is not something that you can just replace that easily. it is still growing and getting better over time. so although nobody knows about the future i can tell you that in the future bitcoin will exist if there is anything like bitcoin it will only become second to bitcoin and never even get on top of it.

Of course, that's totally possible, techniques/technology are always evolving. The blockchain tech is cutting edge right now but then that's how it always is with new ideas, there is no doubt that at some point someone will come up with something even better. Having said that I do believe that it's sturdy enough to last for a very long time, we might not witness a better alternative in our lifetime.

still it is possible , but needed another great inventor like satoshi to make it happen right? and needed time too so i guess it wouldn't happened in next 10-20 years? bitcoin are mother of cryptocurrency , always hard to replace the mother.

I dont think so because bitcoin is the most used cryto currency among all of them. The popularity itself compared to other crypto is too far.

There's no real competition against Bitcoin. Whoever is selling you Bitcoin tier of protection with massive onchain transactions is selling you a lie.
Bitcoin will scale to be a worldwide used currency thanks to secondary layer solutions and it will continue being #1. Don't fall for the lies ant altcoin saviors, they all want your BTC.

For now, I don't see another cryptocurrency topping the king that is Bitcoin. Bitcoin could very well be compared to COD in the sense that even when newer stuff comes out and their technology is far better and advanced (no worthy big and direct competitors yet tho), it'll still be on the top (I hate COD btw just making an analogy hehe) with minor changes. Both as they are established will continue to chug along until their support dies out in favor of another or when they just become that obselete.

Bitcoin is the mother of all digital currencies. It is the reserve currency, as long as it evolves, it will not be replaced.

I don't beleive that it could be entirely replaced but it might  get serious competition in some other cryptocurrency. At this moment this is not very likely.

Measured by the number of pages this topic has acquired within such a short period of time I'd say it's quite safe to assess that people do have some thoughts about Bitcoin potentially being replaced by a future cryptocurrency. I can however personally agree that this does not seem to be happening in the near future, that is to say in the next 1-2 years.

i don't think i would happen because the price of altcoins are based on bitcoin . it is the leading and most recognized cryptocurrency
so it is imposible for bitcoin to be replaced by other cryptocurrencies for now .

Nothing is impossible, but it is a very hard job to replace bitcoin by any other crypto currency because bitcoin is pioneer in the crypto world. Bitcoin showed the world what crypto currency is.

So it will not be an easy task to replace the pioneer. But you never know.

I agree.  Difficult to replace a pioneer of something in any realm.  Bitcoin is no exception - it is the king, the beginning, the original, and much more.  In the future I see Bitcoin as the gold standard to all of the other crypto innovations that succeed.  There are only 21 million bitcoins EVER and many people will be happy to have at least one.

Yes it is very hard to beat or replace Bitcoins. You can compare the volume and market value of Alts coins as compared to bitcoin.Alts coins have competition within altcoins and ofcourse they cant come close to bitcoins.

In the short run not at al possible. After long years sometimes things may change, because our bitcoin too grown high in a very short time. At the same several crypts has got vanished. So with digital currency anything could happen.

I also go with bitcoin I don't sink a altcoin will rais that much up as the bitcoin do. But at time ether as a good start much advertise I see on net for etherum. We will see what coin can hold the top in future but all time there will be a top coin. But I do my investments in bitcoin be course I think no one can beat this coin!
