What it would happend if is developed a new Bitcoin with a consensus model different to PoW, PoS like Ethereum? That mean the fees would be cheaper so that will be the end of current Bitcoin, or not?

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
Bitcoin has a lot of market shares in this moment, it is unlikely that another cryptocurrency can take it place, since Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency.
But, if an interesting cryptocurrency is launched, for example, with no transaction fees, it can be possible.

Bitcoin has been losing market cap domination consistently over time, in latest months such loss increased.

If it continues like this it will lose its dominance in few years.

Daddy is Daddy, and no one can replace it in future, as I don't think that there will any crypto that can hold multiple features that bitcoin is holding, and I think bitcoin will always be on top.

It is not impossible but it looks hard. Bitcoin is a pioneer in crypto currency and usually pioneers really last long. However, bitcoin will be available till 2023 only.

So it is very much possible that people will start mining another crypto currency after the bitcoin reserve is depleted. This way bitcoin can be replaced from mining. But I see no reason that bitcoin will be out of the market even after being depleted from mining core. It is possible that bitcoin will touch to an enormous height after 2023.

We can't really say though because eventhough bitcoin is the godfather of all coins there might be a new coin that will be better for bitcoin because of it's technical behavior.

In that latest months you stated still it has been keeping up.

I see no reason just because of that, bitcoin will lose it's dominance.

If ever that will happen, other crypto lossing their respective marketcap too so still bitcoin has the lead.

every thing is possible in this world. may be bitocin replace by another cryopto currency. but I think it is very difficult. my personal view is that bitcoin will merge other crypto currencies because the position of bitcoin is too strong.

as technology keeps moving forward bitcoin has to evolve or die. I think it will evolve, mainly because currently there is no other alternative meaning btc has the time to adjust. Only time will tell if it does?

Some months ago people said ETH would be the new bitcoin, it may grow and reach bigger value but it has a long jorney ahead to try to reach bitcoin. I don't see any crypo able to take down bitcoin soo soon besides huge potencial and market capitalization all crypto are exchanged against bitcoin.

I do not think there are any crypto currency will be replaced on bitcoin because for now bitcoin has a big value and the demand is very high.
I know that more crypto currency will compete in bitcoin to be no. coin. but for me bitcoin will remain no. as crypto currency.

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?

This is possible since everything in the market is possible. It may not happen or it will happen who knows. But the probability is there and we cannot stop its potential downfall. If bitcoin is replaced by other cryptocurrency then we must always be ready to use other altcoins as well just to be ready for the worst case scenario to happen to bitcoin. So in short just play safe and invest in diverse currency.

Your username says all.Are you using monero? Grin

If you ask me,all the altcoins are not even close to bitcoin in terms of popularity.

If there is a competitive cryptocurrency,it will need a few years to beat bitcoin.

there are good altcoins with interesting features, like monero for example but this doesn't mean bitcoin is going to become obsolete as Moneroman88 is trying so hard to say here. all the current altcoins will always remain second to bitcoin and can never even come close to the usability of bitcoin.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Possibly bitcoin never get replaced by another cryptocurrency. Now itself thousands of digital currencies have existed following bitcoin but till now only bitcoin have survived long and grown high.

The bitcoin can kill itself by the developer and the miners. Nothing else in the world can kill it. It is the internet of money.

Altcoins called alternative Bitcoin, as most altkoinov hope Bitcoin either replace or improve at least one of the parameters of Bitcoin.
Altcoins help developers to experiment with unique characteristics. Although Bitcoin can copy any innovation, if the community so desires and developers fully functioning altcoins It is much better laboratory for Bitcoins than test the Bitcoin network, since altcoins have a certain monetary value, in contrast to a test network. Finally, altcoins offer a healthy competition in the market cryptocurrency and thereby provoke Bitcoin developers remain active and continue to develop innovations. If part of the crypto community considers that the Bitcoin is outdated and no longer meets their needs, they can take altcoin.
