Bitcoin will be replaced by another crypto maybe one day it will happen by some kind of advanced digital money system maybe I'm sure of it.
But chances are we will not see this change during our lifetime. because I hope that your little one can live and kick at least 40 or 50 years ahead
I'm worried about the potential bitcoin replacement that can be seen as BTC 2.0 is funny and stupid
My views are same as you because bitcoin is known all over the world and more of the people are using it and it has a great impact on people lives and there is no coin that can replace this blessing because bitcoin has make a place in people minds and hearts it is not a currency nor investment it is more than blessing for all so invest into it there is no coin still in crypto that will cross it and give people a bright future.

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

If seeing a bitcoin price increase this week makes me believe that bitcoin performance will continue to improve, it seems to be difficult to replace bitcoins with other cryptocurrencies so I'm sure bitcoin will continue to be number one and the main choice of cryptocurrency users.

Really? In my country, there are a lot of people still don't know Bitcoin, even the cryptocurrency world. They just know the method make money of their job, they don't have time to research in this field. So, I think Bitcoin is still very small in the world, it isn't too important.

Bitcoin itself won't be taken over / replaced by a different cryptocurrency unless there is some major shift with the cryptosphere or a lot of the fiat financial systems start to move into cryptos and everyone pushes for a new one. Bitcoin can change and be modified, but there's a very small chance that Bitcoin will be replaced in the foreseeable future.

To believe (e.g. to be certain) something like that does not make rational sense. To say that is a statistic probability makes much more sense. However, this has been discussed over and over again. In order for the cryptocurrency space to thrive, it would be most suitable if there were multiple coins at the top and not just one (as currently Bitcoin is). Nobody can say that either one will happen for sure; they would only be speculating.

Agree with this. Like the Yen and the dollar for example.

I think "Nothing is impossible" , but i also think there are no crytocurrency which can replaced for Bitcoin.

but now a days Swap, ETH etc doing good job..

may be in jan 2016 i first heard about bitcoin when btc price was only $600 but just 1.9 year later it almost $7,000 (7k)

so btc always rock.. day by day lots of people learn about cryptocurrency and they fall love with BTC.

January 2016 bitcoin prices not more than $ 300, prices start to skyrocket when halving day events of July 2016, I agree "nothing is impossible", because successful bitcoin certainly makes people or companies interested in making coins and of course they make better than bitcoin so the opportunity replace bitcoin.

It`s impossible, it`s a mere nonsense, Altcoin can`t go beyond bitcoin, everything is clear. Of the price alone bitcoin is very high, like elephants and cats.

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?

Maybe some time bitcoin will be replaced by other cryptocurrency but as of now I think it is impossible for other currency to replace bitcoin because bitcoin is the origin of the other currency. Bitcoin is also now increasing its price and unlike the other currency bitcoin is far large in means of price. And when bitcoin starts and continue to fall maybe that's the time for the other currency to replace bitcoin, but for now I think it will not.

Bitcoin is the mother/father of all cryptocurrencies. I believe that Bitcoin will not be replaced by another cryptocurrency because some of them don't have great qualities that Bitcoin has. Also, we can see that bitcoin's price increases oftentimes which proves that it is still strong and competitive, and it's getting more popular to people day by day. And the population of Bitcoin users are getting bigger and bigger which is good.

They can imitate but people or supporters will always trust on bitcoin and they have already put their money on bitcoin that is what their interest
is to only see it grow more as it can give them more profit. Bitcoin was invented first that is why it's hard to replace it with a new cryptocurrency but they can grow together to have a strong market.

Never can tell what may happen in the future,  you know the world is actually changing and things change too.

There might be a currency is that may emerge in time coming, that will compete with bitcoin.

I believe that bitcoin as we have it right now, will be supersede by any currency in time coming.

I believe that Bitcoin will be in the end replaced by some sort of more advanced digital money system. I am certain of it.
But most likely we won't see this change during our lifetime. I expect bitcoin to be alive and kicking for at least 50+ years.

Worrying about bitcoin's potential replacements and altcoins which can be viewed as BTC 2.0 is dumb idea anyway.

I think it can happen much earlier, because bitcoat technology is the first and the most not perfect, 50+ years is a huge time, everything changes much faster so I do not exclude the fact that within 5-10 years there will be a change or even a replacement bitcoin

As a currency bitcoin is very much hyped and have a good reputation. I think ethereum is the only currency that could overtake bitcoin but bitcoin will never go away

At least in the upcoming years, bitcoin will never replaced easily, It's a very powerful cryptocurrency and people use it too much compared to other crypto, So the chance that bitcoin will be replaced it's too low in the 15 or 20 years later. Nowdays bitcoin is shared too much and it will be more known in few months.

Bitcoin is the first ever digital cryptocurrency in the market. It is now being used in many countries. The rate in the market is contineously increasing due to its higher demand. There should be another digital currency that will be out or created and it will never be replaced Bitcoin.

According to me it has a very less probability of Bitcoin replaced by any other crypto currency. Bitcoin is know at a very high value and the other doesn't have a value even close to Bitcoin. May be in future, there is some probability of Bitcoin's replacing by any other crypto currency. May be in 15 to 20 years, maybe a new coin will emerge to defeat the BITCOIN.
