yes it is possible even though it is very difficult. if there is a crypto that has the advantages of bitcoin can certainly be replaced. nothing is impossible.
We cannot erase that possibility but we should always consider that bitcoin is the most popular and it has low supply.
As long as people keep using bitcoin it will always increase its value and more people will be attracted to invest and support it.

May be,may be not. The technology is changing so fast you know. Everyday a new thing is invented. People are developing their ideas daily. It would be no surprised ,if BITCOIN is replaced or another cryptocurrency will come. But it would be not easy.Almost 430 developers contribute to develop Bitcoin, where the new developers will come?

We could not predict our future and even bitcoin. We don't know how long bitcoin will exist here in crypro world. But when there is gone there is come. If ever bitcoin will gone I know there will a crypto that could replace bitcoin in the world of crypto.

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?

That actually depends on whether the cryptocurrency has the capability to over power bitcoin and it's value. I don't see this possible as of now, since bitcoin is getting more and more popular. The fact that people want bitcoin more than any other cryptocurrencies makes it impossible for bitcoin to be overthrown from the top.

I don't think its near possible to do so. The fact that people are drawn to cryptocurrency just because of bitcoin I think that this reason is enough to think that bitcoin will never be replaced by any other altcoins.

i don't think so because first thing here is bitcoin is the mother of all crypto currency which all of them are depending on bitcoin without bitcoin how they can use it to buy , maybe we can say that we can use our money to do so however the reason is too impossible bitcoin is the most trusted of all because it launch without the help of other currencies but the bitcoin is bitcoin supporting those cryptocurrencies they can't even put it that into another price with another cyrpto.

Seems like majority of the people including me believes that is not impossible as far as I read. The reason behind my idea is that bitcoin is the pioneer of the crypto currency market and dominating it with its gigantic volume.

I wouldn't rule this out completely but i highly doubt it would be any of the coins currently out there. Bitcoin is rising at a faster rate than any of the coins and is probably going to continue to for a while now.

possibly bro, ETH or Litecoin could be
I think ETH has  good chance, I don't know but that is my bet and that is why I am putting my money on ETH.
Right now it's very undervalued, most of the altcoins are rising but ETH remain stable, and in that sense I think ETH is a good buy now.
I also think that, one of the reasons ETH has the potential to replace BTC is because of the token based ETH and 100% fundraising using ETH.
it will trigger a continuous increase and if ICO development wants, they can make ETH price very high

Eth has been involved in a lot of big project, and currently it has a strong community with promising market capitalization. It's sounds in hurry if we talk about this but yeah ethereum could be a big threat for bitcoin. Not only about the value but also other factors.

Bitcoin is irreplaceable as long as people are utilizing it because we know that bitcoin is the beginning of cryptos and been dominant for the past years since it was launched. There's a very long way and challenges for an altcoin to replace bitcoin's place.

This is possible if any altcoin has the potential and attracts the trader as well as the investor who cares and invests in it. I believe that bitcoin can not last forever and it will be beaten by a better altcoin.

- Of course, although Bitcoin is king but each era will be born a new king, sooner or later, Bitcoin will also face strong and potential competitors, someday it will be defeated, people will gradually abandon Bitcoin and switch where the new ideal investment. However, this scenario will need a long time to appear, the king can not be defeated simply, time is probably very long with us, and during the period of waiting, we should continue to invest and make money with Bitcoin, it still is a source of infinite profit with us

I do not think that bitcoin will be replaced by another crypto currency because 1 bitcoin is equal to 16000$ and 1 ethereum is equal to 700$. Moreover other currencies are less valuable than bitcoin. So we can see that there are a huge difference between bitcoin and other crypto currencies. So it is not only hard but also impossible to replace bitcoin by other crypto currencies.

Maybe you are right but not totally Grin Grin
You told that ethereum remains stable.  So according to your statement don't you think that it would be a foolish work to buy ETH at this moment?
My opinion says that it would be but if you want to invest your money in altcoins then it is your personal matter.

Impossible to happen because bitcoin already established solid foundation in cryptoworld, and as of this moment bitcoins continuously moving up and gaining massive trust to investors. Bitcoin still dominates..
