Litecoin is a sleeping turd and maybe in 100 million years it will be worth something kind of like how dinosaur turds are worth money today.

If true they have a definate PR problem. All other coins tout what they are doing. With LTC you see 1 mention of something every 3 months. YOU GOT TO SHOUT TO GET HEARD ABOVE THE CROWD! anyway imho ... In general the shouting is for the pump and dump schemes. The goal here is to make a cryptocurrency that works. |

Yes, this makes me curious, with a large marketcap but the price movements such as dead. I don't know, until when, if like this continue, I am sure will be left by the user.
look at the "volumes" next time you visited wherever you saw the price and it looked dead then you'll understand why it is a sleeping giant. then look up accumulation in trading terminology if you got the time. and then also zoom out of that chart that you are checking and you see another reason why people call it sleeping giant. |

It already is a GIANT, but massive (disproportional) growth compared to its peers is unlikely.

People seem to think that if a coin is declining, one day it will just crash in price. Litecoin will be around for a very long time, although if you think it will be successful you are being very overoptimistic.
It has and always be a clone of Bitcoin which is used solely for trading.

It's held value per coin and marketcap, and there are still about 40 billion litecoins to mine out of 84 billion total. Compared to about ten other coins that were once high but have now tanked. |

superiority has nothing to do with price. i don't like what litecoin is offering either, it is mostly a copy paste coin with some variables changed  what matters is Chinese and they are balls deep in this coin and never pull out. and history has shown that they for some reason love litecoin and when they decide to pump it they always pump it hard meaning lots of profit. |
Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

There's nothing special about Litecoin, other than it has that special aura around it about being the "original alt" and it has that also special view on it where people see it as silver of crypto. Im not sure if this applies at all, it may keep stagnating for life for all we know, but it may pump again.. |
