No, at this stage its better to go with fiat as the price stability is still missing in bitcoins and unless it doesn't happen I don't think its a smart move to go for it.
Yes bitcoin price is very volatile and that will be the major issue if we accept our salary in bitcoins,no body wants to take risks with his salary, sometimes more sometimes less according to the price of bitcoin which keeps changing,so it would be much better to take salary in fiat.

It is the same case in my country as well. I would rather accept fiat as slary because most of the shops/stores in my city have never heard of bitcoin. Hence it is difficult to buy all necessary stuff with bitcoin if that becomes my salary. As a part-time earning bitcoin is good but then again I have to convert it to fiat before transacting.

That's a right move and I don't understand why people say that they would like to receive salary in bitcoins unless they have an option to spend it directly to buy anything but that is not possible at this stage.

Of course! Yea, and no taxes  Cool Bitwage is good opinion, insurance and everything what needs  Tongue

Don't get excited already. Your employer has to deduct tax from your salary just like it happens with your normal paid out salary every month. No difference here. Wink

Lol yes if companies start paying salary in bitcoins that means it has been approved by the Government and when there is any involvement from Government then paying taxes would be mandatory.

ofcourse i would like to receive my salary in bitcoin . Because if we get salary in btc the we have the option to use our salary as an investment for long term and also use for making online purchase .
but still this will take 30-40 years to receive btc in salary .

Yes obviously I would be happy to get my salary in bitcoin because its price is not stable and i can make profit by converting my bitcoin into real money because if i get my salary while bitcoin rate us $600 and if I wait few months then it's rate would become $650 so $40 would be my profit. $10 is taken as transaction fees. not necessarily is exact.

And what if price falls to $300 or $400 in coming years? Will you still be happy to receive salary in bitcoins as there is no guarantee that price will keep on moving only in positive direction it may even fall dramatically in future.

yeah , and second problem may be what happen when by some mistakes the btc goes in some trouble during server maintenance and you had not made any backup alredy . then probably loss of chance .
still profit chance also more so we can say we will happy to accept btc as salary .

Although, Bitcoin is being accepted as (crypto) currency widely. It has been regulated as asset in most of the countries. Accepting salary or any other payment as Bitcoin or any other asset has its own risks.

Assets are highly volatile than (regulated) currency.
Assets have risk of disappearing.
Assets can either make you rich or poor because of its volatility.

So, accepting salary or payments in Bitcoin is subjective. Maybe, it is right time to invest in Bitcoin so we can accept Bitcoin as salary or payment. Remember, it is just an investment. If you can play well, it is highly recommended. Otherwise, a fat NO!

I'm accepting most of the payments in Bitcoins now. At least from the persons/organizations who are aware of.

The reason we are working is because we need money to survive in this world so that our salary matters to us and since bitcoin is an investment, I would accept my salary in bitcoin if I have a choice to be paid in fiat because I want to directly spend it to buy my needs.

For next few years I will not prefer to accept salary in bitcoins and even if future I will go for it only if its helping me to buy everything directly with it and if it can take care of my basic needs then I won't mind in getting paid in bitcoins.

Earning from signature campaign cannot be treated as an salary, its just an passive income that can take care of our basic stuffs and if finally you are going to convert your bitcoins to fiat then there is no use of receiving salary in bitcoins.

I will happy to receive my salary in BTC. I would exchange the BTC to local currency and use it for my expense and would save the rest. Since the price has started to grow now, I would hold the rest of the bitcoins and sell or exchange when the price goes high at the end of this year or in 2017. I am sure this will benefit me with more profit. Its kind of a business done with my salary.
Is there any fee's that if you are going to convert your bitcoin in to local currencies ? and use it on physical stores ? because here in my country there are no fees whenever we want to convert our bitcoin into cash because bitcoin wallet i use is partnered with banks.

Which country you belong to? As in my country I have to pay 2% conversion every time when I exchange them to fiat and I think its too high especially if you are selling in higher amount.
Philippines we are using our bitcoin wallet that based on my country we don't have fee's when we are selling our bitcoin into banks and it really fast we do have options there if we want it to become cardless withdrawal no need cards etc when you need to withdraw money.
You might not notice the fee but exchange sites does not operate for free, they are surely making money in every transaction we are making. Just try to check the buying price and the selling price so you can see and calculate how much they are making money from every transaction we do.
Yup the price of buy and sell is not really accurate on the preev.com but i really don't care about that as long i as i can withdraw my money without problem Smiley even they are not following the real price on the preev. but if you are going to send bitcoin too theres are no fees

But I think when you are exchanging your bitcoins to fiat you have to pay certain fees to traders and if traders will not charge you fee then how he is going to earn profits from it, I am sure he is not there for charity.

I do agree with you, the earnings from signature isnt a salary, its a source of income, we do make a service and get paid while we do that, outside online we do have needs and those all cost fiat and not bitcoin, some people say they use their bitcoins with debit cards, sure its amazing doing such but bills will need fiat to be paid anyway.

That's right there are certain places where only fiat can take care at a moment, there are many people who are paying bills with bitcoins but everyone cannot do that as scenario will differ in country to country.
