good news guys that can increase the number of users of the platform. cooperation with microsoft is nice and many projects do not even dream about it, but you do something more. im sure that the price will show growth like other projects that have launched a fully working mobile kit from which it is easy and convenient to make transfers.

That was a joy to read. Covers the areas that need to be improved and does a great job of explaining Stratis' significant advantages in having SC which execute .NET code on chain over other smart contract offerings (in this case specifically Ethereum, but can be extended to any Solidity-based SCs). 1) Whats going on with EarthTwine? For real, its been 1+ year and investors havent gotten a SINGLE piece of information for over a year. 3) Stratis team members have stated they have had thousands of inquiries/interested parties. Where are they? Where is that legitimate interest? We're in in a revolutionary age with this technology, Stratis has been building out its platform for 2+ years and the best they could muster up is some random fellas @ Mediconnect? Where is the interest from the big boys(read point 8.)? Any? The house hold names, international businesses, government contracts. This is a decentralized platform isnt it? Anyone can begin using it without needing permission, am I correct? So where are they?

4)BGT, just dead, no interaction, no information. a forgotten mistake.

5)Gluon seems to be the only thing that brings some legitimacy to Stratis. They are actively talking about it, they have an LG partnership, Investors just have no idea when to expect the ICO. Yes, yes, SEC approval and whatnot, that could take years.... So, nothing in that department.

6)What happened to the sold out event that Mahesh Chand at the Microsoft smart contract event? We saw a picture of a stratis shirt, thats about all. Guy even shilled Verge and ADA on his announcement.

7) Chris Trew also mentioned there would be several new ico, startups or companies mentioned after their release of smart contracts and the full node. Where are they?

8.) Dont mention the Microsoft partnership, because its no really a partnership... They paid for a licence and met the requirements needed for the licence to become an ISV, thats all. Its not like Stratis was hand picked for this...

If STRAT goes nowhere, I don't really care that much - I will always be able to cash out for a nice profit if I want to, it seems.

But if STRAT goes like ETH, then I will always be regretting it. So it's a no-brainer - just hold and wait.

I am sure stratis will surpass eth next couple of years . There are too many problems in eth transactions due to traffic. Developers will move towards other

Yes, maybe Ethereum is having some scaling problems, but they will be solved for sure. For on-chain scalability they will implement Plasma (https://plasma.io/) and for scaling through sidechains(off-chain) you already have Raiden. Don't get ahead of yourself, surpassing Ethereum is highly unlikely.

Nothing is "for sure" in this world. Plasma is unproven, and cannot scale beyond an initial 5x or so scaling. To truly scale on-chain, Ethereum will need Sharding, which is also very unproven. As for Raiden - that's only for payments, not for DApps. Ethereum's scaling problems come from DApps, not payments. For example, the CryptoKitties app cannot use Raiden to reduce fees. This doesn't mean Ethereum won't figure it out, but there are risks like with everything, and don't be too sure everything will be solved "for sure".

1) Earthtwine I don't know about. Official word is that Stratis is gagged by an NDA, however I wouldn't be surprised if that NDA is simply preventing them from making it public that they're no longer consulting/working with Stratis. Since there haven't been any developments on that front for well over a year, I think that it's unlikely that they are still working together. Just my two cents.

2) Chris clarified that the $500k (or £500k, whichever it was) was set aside for a PR firm (or two PR firms? I'd have to check), and not that that money had been spent on implementing PR/marketing. They've been pretty clear about the fact that they didn't want to spend money on marketing a product which didn't yet exist, hence the lack of marketing thus far.

It would be great to see this change now that version 1 of the platform is out. "The tech markets itself" isn't good enough, and hopefully they will do justice to what they've built.

3) There are roughly 12 projects working on top of the Full Node at the moment, none of them "household" names of course, but development is beginning on top of the C# FN already! For tech which has been out for less than a month, the full node (which is basically an SDK) is seeing quite a lot of interest. This will only increase, of course. As for companies actually working with Stratis, and not just on top of the platform or forking code, I think that we'd be safe to say Gluon and Mediconnect are paying for consultancy and BGT is at least paying for premium services. Only about 10 projects are using/have used the ICO Platform, and that number needs to be improved: it's the product Stratis has had out with the production stamp the longest, so it's the one I'd expect to have seen the most usage. I expect that this is a symptom of the ICO culture at the moment and a lack of awareness surrounding Stratis' ICO Platform. From talking with a few of the projects crowdfunding their ICOs through the platform, the service gets a good reviews across the board. Now just have to get more people hearing about it.

4) Don't know much about BGT, I do know that Peter is still intending to run an ICO (technically will be an STO now) on top of Stratis. I haven't spoken directly with him about it, but if the situation with Gluon is anything to go by, BGT is very limited in what they can do/say until their registration under Reg A with the SEC is finalised. Chatting with Sameer (Gluon CEO) is pretty eye opening: the restrictions placed on companies while undergoing the filing is nuts.

5) As above, not a huge amount Gluon can actually make public until the filing is complete. It's been, what, 10 months since they made their initial application? Upfront cost to Gluon for the registration has been so far in excess of $250k and they're progressing at a good pace, by all accounts. Far be it for me to claim to know when they'll have completed registration, but I'm pretty certain we're now nearer the end than the beginning.

6) That talk went well. Chatted with a couple of the attendees after it was done, they said Mahesh spoke well and the talk was informative. I'll reach out to Mahesh and see if we can get some media from the event.

9) People have begun building smart contracts, it's hard to gauge how many since the Discord #smart_contracts channel (for example) is simply there for support, not as a forum for development.  Jordan is in contact with a number of people building apps with the smart contracts, and the Stratis Development Foundation has a goal of creating 1000 SC. Ambitious, certainly, but Myco and that lot are a smart bunch.

I've met Mahesh a few times, he's legitimate. C# Corner is for a general C# community and as such Stratis fits into one small niche within its broader remit. I'm not sure it'd be fair to expect Mahesh to plug Stratis when very few of those devs are going to be interested in blockchain development in the first place. However, it is good that Mahesh can channel those who are interested towards Stratis.

Only about 10 projects are using/have used the ICO Platform, and that number needs to be improved: it's the product Stratis has had out with the production stamp the longest, so it's the one I'd expect to have seen the most usage. I expect that this is a symptom of the ICO culture at the moment and a lack of awareness surrounding Stratis' ICO Platform. From talking with a few of the projects crowdfunding their ICOs through the platform, the service gets a good reviews across the board. Now just have to get more people hearing about it.

4) Don't know much about BGT, I do know that Peter is still intending to run an ICO (technically will be an STO now) on top of Stratis. I haven't spoken directly with him about it, but if the situation with Gluon is anything to go by, BGT is very limited in what they can do/say until their registration under Reg A with the SEC is finalised. Chatting with Sameer (Gluon CEO) is pretty eye opening: the restrictions placed on companies while undergoing the filing is nuts.

5) As above, not a huge amount Gluon can actually make public until the filing is complete. It's been, what, 10 months since they made their initial application? Upfront cost to Gluon for the registration has been so far in excess of $250k and they're progressing at a good pace, by all accounts. Far be it for me to claim to know when they'll have completed registration, but I'm pretty certain we're now nearer the end than the beginning.

6) That talk went well. Chatted with a couple of the attendees after it was done, they said Mahesh spoke well and the talk was informative. I'll reach out to Mahesh and see if we can get some media from the event.

7) I'm not sure Chris said that they would be announced once SC and the FN was out, I think he just said that there are unannounced ICOs/companies working with Stratis. Mediconnect had been working with Stratis since the summer and were only announced in December. If there are companies working with Stratis now we may not hear about them for many months.

8.) I don't know what to tell you, if quite literally being a part of the Microsoft Partnership Network doesn't amount to a "real" partnership, then I'm not sure what will. It's a natural step in the right direction for Stratis, given their positioning within the Microsoft tech stack.

9) People have begun building smart contracts, it's hard to gauge how many since the Discord #smart_contracts channel (for example) is simply there for support, not as a forum for development.  Jordan is in contact with a number of people building apps with the smart contracts, and the Stratis Development Foundation has a goal of creating 1000 SC. Ambitious, certainly, but Myco and that lot are a smart bunch.

I've met Mahesh a few times, he's legitimate. C# Corner is for a general C# community and as such Stratis fits into one small niche within its broader remit. I'm not sure it'd be fair to expect Mahesh to plug Stratis when very few of those devs are going to be interested in blockchain development in the first place. However, it is good that Mahesh can channel those who are interested towards Stratis.

I think that in general Stratis has a number of areas it will want to improve. The first is the most obvious one, getting people to use the platform. I think it's too easy to say "we need more marketing" but there's no doubt that having a marketing strategy put into place will help. Up until now, no resources had been used that were allocated to marketing. With a product to market and a revenue to be generated, Stratis now has every reason to use those resources.

Another area of improvement in my mind is transparency. I am a firm believer in open and honest communication, especially in crypto. It would be far better, for example, to say "We are no longer working with earthtwine for x, y and z reason" than to leave the community in the dark.

The Stratis guys are a really great bunch. They're smart, passionate and dedicated to what they're building. They've already achieved a hell of a lot with the very little they raised and this year is chance for them to really shine, now that version 1 of the platform is out. The tech is top class, that much is achieved. Now it's a matter of kicking in the network effect.
