We should start a investigation website to track any known information we can get about these web sites that scam people. Names, Adresses, Phone, Email and any other info to track them down. If they can be found. they can be punished. One way or another.  Also verify and track who lost money and how much. Just in case we can recover funds.

totally agreed with You.. these guys need to be punished.

If it is the real stats that they got over 700.00 members, it's wow. Has anyone know their main wallet adress, it would interesting to check it. I think admins of Hashocean become millionaires with this ponzi scheme.

Not sure why a lot people here seem to be surprised by this as this is just one of the many "cloud mining" sites that runs away when there is no fore sight of stealing more money from people due to (in this case) the block halving.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

Over 3 million dollars at current price. It's not surprize that this pozni scheme worked long time, while they got so many investments. I hope it's good lesson that real profitable cloud mining doesn't exist and people will stay avay fom ''cloud mining' sites.

Facebook page has been deleted as-well : https://www.facebook.com/hashoceancloudmining/
And that signals that it is officialy a scam! I feel sorry for people who still has investments in it.

Why do you feel sorry? It was an obvious ponzi. Those people's greed lead them to stupidity.

No reason to paint with such a broad brush imo, I have investments in several other mining ops which remain profitable currently, one of which is possibly a scam but the others I have on good authority are legit and I don't just mean simply because they pay me. Why add more FUD? All it does it hurt faith in crypto overall from my view.. Hashocean was the highest paying site of it's kind which was a good indicator to me that they were a possible ponzi, but it is certainly possible to profit more than your average mutual fund by investing in a 3rd party mining operation. The math is not always impossible. I couldn't recommend a site to anyone else if they paid me to right now though.. don't want to be responsible for anyones money but mines.

Many bitcoin investor now learn the lesson ,don't invest what you can afford to lose, greedy kill you and make you poor.

So.. seriously can any of you guys with YoBit signatures either help me get to my wallets there or explain why they are keeping me from it? It's slightly amusing to see so many people talking about how dumb others are when they have links to a site that I HEAVILY suspect to be a scam in their sigs. For all intents and purposes they have robbed me by refusing access to my own coins on the basis that I keep getting "hacked".. And ever since the 2 "hacks" in 2 weeks on 2 separate computers with excellent malware protection with fully different logins than I use anywhere else their support has made it quite clear that returning my money to me is not a priority. It's a different sort of scam, but a scam nonetheless. The only thing that will convince me otherwise is my YoBit money in my personal wallet yesterday.

So... The dream is over hehe

The Ponzi scheme was good for many people, a good profit was made by many investors, but... A lot of people lost their money also, anyway it was very expected. It would happen any time, everybody knew about the risks about HashOcean!

It was from earlier today, yes. I smell something fishy in the air. It was posted forwarded to me by another hashocean affiliate, which was found on social media.
I hope HO sticks around, it was a nice functional "cloud-miner".

I'm apart of Coince as well. I'll have to crack some skulls if they do a midnight move.

Another update , someone  showed me this and I'm not sure how legit this is (he says it's from a Bitcoin group somewhere) :
Code:
[img]https://i.imgur.com/mTSOhnZ.jpg[/img]

Having access to the domain still doesn't explain how and why both YouTube video and Facebook page got deleted.
That's just another lame excuse if it is indeed from hashocean. Look at the history of all ponzis that collapsed, they hae the same pattern. They will claim the same things that they got hacked etc etc and then make excuses. No one believes them anymore. If they are a legit company, security precautions should always be the top priority.

If they hack someone's mail they may hack their facebook and mail and pages. Or if they do a social engineering attack, like happened with this forum.

But I really really doubt, why would the hacker just delete everything? What would he gain with it?

For me they are just bullshiting and they will never come back online
