WHY THE F# THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE IS ONLINE AGAIN ?

IF THEY REALLY FIX THIER OWN PROBLEM.. THEY GONNA BE +12346754 TRUSTED !

BE SMART HASHOCEAN.. COMEBACK TO ONLINE.
I don't think they're coming back. I bet this person has a lot invested in HO.

Anyways, as already mentioned, this is a lesson everyone (especially those who invested) will need to learn. Don't trust them until they have proof.

Invested a lot or not I think he is right. If hashocean comes back now imagine how much trust it will gain, how much respect and how many new users.
Of course this would mean for them bigger amounts invested therefore a bigger amount to run off with in the future.
I must admit it would be a smart move from them to come back.

They won't though. Just coming back won't do anything other than show that they want another shot at fleecing people.
In order to really come back successfully and without the taint of 'scam' hanging over their heads, they would really
need to do something above and beyond. Give users double the hashing power they had or something.

I must contradict you here.
I don't really think the majority will see it as you do.I think they will decide it's very trustworthy because it came back and they will promote it as a very serious business instead and promote it even more agressive.
If I was a scammer with such a plan I would do that.I would create pannic from time to time and then I would prevail a "hacking attack" or some other petty excuse because " I do it for my users " and so on.

Report where?
I tried such a thing in the past with solid proofs ( pictures, emails, forum messages ) to PayPal and ic3.gov.
The website I reported is still opened, it still scams people and is still working even today.
The sad truth is nobody gives a damn in the online community.

Yeah I belive that it's not easy to take down a Homepage but that crap on facebook for example or other social media like youtube. I'm sure YouTube and facebook won't support that garbage and of course on boards like this Ehen peopel try advertise that shit. We habe to stop all this. We should find a legal way how to take down such criminal sites. So don't take just a snapshot report them.

There are a few sites I've noticed popping up here on bitcointalk recently that sell "HYIP Scripts"

The same type of scripts that are used by all the cloud mining/ investment programs that scam.

If you are not aware of this, then get aware of it now.

Here is a literal 1:1 HashOcean script I found just a few hours ago on a website/shop posted by user "HYIPSHOP.com"

http://hyipshop.com/hyip-script/bitcoin%20cloud%20mining

These are the same scripts being used by BitsRapid, GainBitcoin, BiteMiner, TopMine & every scam Cloud Mining HYIP etc etc

Other users in the Digital Goods section are also selling these website scripts.

Notice both of these "cloud mining" sites use the exact same script:

https://downloadabit.com/?product=75

http://hyipshop.com/hyip-script/bitcoin-doubler-script

Wake people up to this ASAP so they know what they are dealing with when they come across these scam sites.

Is that possible to track them? Is that possible to gather more informations from owner of that sites?

Tracking the sites owners won't prove to be worthwhile (imo) but I'm not an expert, do what you will.

Technically they are allowed to sell these scripts because they are not using the scripts themselves to scam others (presumably).  The buyer who purchases the script is using it to scam and the website owner who sold the script has "no idea" what they are using it for.

The issue is that it is well known what HYIP scripts are being used for - scamming.  There is no other use for them.

You can check the threads where I found the scripts here and here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1529075.0       (Hashocean script)

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1318560.0       (other scripts)

I'm sure they know their biggest clients. So if somebody could find out who is running that shop that eould be great. Hashocean ist the last one there are a few Mord cloud mining services which go down the next day.

How do they claim you are buying hardware, then go offline and not support the fact that it is our hardware in their facilities (im sure they have their own too), but since they wont be back, proves it was a scam whole time, sad sad sad that victims fall for it. (including myself- have about 400KHS)
i thought they were basically legit the fact you can call them, i just tried, and no working #. automated voice says they are not avail right now.

Don't fall for it i tried it. What matter to them is for you to send them BTC even you don't fall under their condition. They will say just sent them the last transaction that match the last amount debited to you even your last transaction is buying more power. So thinking it more those moron were fake and trying to gain more btc by scamming more those panicking users.  I send this instead ┌∩┐(◣◢)┌∩┐

very stupid when hashocean send mailers that they has been hacked and they want to return the money but they asked for you to send money first?
Lol who's the people fooled by this?
http://hashocean-refunds.com/
hashocean already gives the reason that they are in the hack. The reason is very mainstream to the mining site to be a scam

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.  THIS EMAIL IS FAKE!!  How do I know?  I have a hashocean account, but the email was sent to an email that I have NEVER registered or used with hashocean; the email I DO use never got the email.

Look at this FB post.J

ordan Cure
Jordan Cure Dear members/miners,
as you may have noticed our domain has been hacked and sold, this was beyond our control and despite our teams very best efforts we have been unable to recover it. Our official Facebook, Twitter and Youtube accounts have also been hacked and closed.
We have had to take the unprecedented step now to admit defeat, the hackers have won and Hashocean is no more.
Our domain and our Data Centres were not directly linked but to be sure our members investments were protected we have been forced to cease all mining operations with immediate effect and transfer all remaining BTC (Approx $3,500,000) to a new secure wallet as we can't be 100% sure the hackers won't be able to get access to your investments eventually.
We have been able to recover a partial backup containing our final full days transactions/payouts along with our customer database and wish to refund as many of our customers as possible but we fear this might not be possible as we suspect the hacker/hackers may of been clients who accessed our domain via fake customer accounts they had setup so the only way we can resolve the matter is as follows:
(Customers will be refunded strictly on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis, when the secured funds are gone, they are gone)
Please carefully take note of the EXACT amount of the last confirmed BTC payment you received from us dated 26th June 2016.
Please send this EXACT amount of BTC to the below secure wallet address - please include with the payment notes your registered email address for Hashocean (DO NOT SEND ACCOUNT PASSWORD)
1GvsV2sLDaqMDcE5rv4mgJdzAScVpnMYfp
We will cross reference your payment and email address with our backup records and as long as they match we will then refund that payment along with your investment back to your accounts registered wallet.(We estimate the process to take no longer than 72Hrs from receipt of your payment to processing of refund)
Please note we will only be refunding the funds you invested plus any re-invested funds, we will not be refunding any sign-up/referral/bonus funds at this time - we think this is the fairest approach so as to refund as many of our loyal investors as possible, if after this process is complete there are any funds remaining we will then start the process of refunding any referral/bonus funds, again on a first come, first served basis - watch this page for updates.
Finally please be extra careful with your account details, we have been informed of a number of fake websites etc. that have been set up using our name and tricking people into disclosing their wallet details, email address and passwords - PLEASE do not send any of your personal details to anyone ever by unsecured methods such as email or website.
Yours,
Team Hashocean

I do feel bad for everyone that has been effected by this, although I am not one of them.
I have also had to learn this lesson the hard way when I was just starting out with BTC.

Please Keep in mind, This is like the Wild West and MOST of what you find out there will probably not make you money.
Use the resources that are available to you here, there is a huge amount of information already here.
And dont hesitate to ask questions, you may get beat up a little Roll Eyes but, it is better than loosing your coin!!!! Grin
