There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Hey mate are you CPU mining or GPU mining. I think you can use the wallet miner but it would be much better to use a external miner. I believe there is now a GUI miner if that helps?

Now you need to figure out what each setting is depending on how your card it setup. If  you look around the forum or Google there should be a bunch of configs.

pool is allready 47MH

and:

rejects are still below 3%, a big leap over any and i say ANY couse im testing every single LTC pool for last weeks.
and this is with no stratum!

maybe if you get crazy low rejects to coinotron with its 2% fee rbpps it can be close,
but other than coinotron every other pool is getting destroyed by a freakin 300%!!!!

- here is 2%fee+3%rej and pays tx !!!!

notroll    : 4%+10%
ozcoin    : 2%+10%
coinotron: 2% + 5%
burnside  : 0% + 20% [kattare]

again, its on my connection from europe, situation may be different for you but you should definetely check this pool.

Just put together my rig today (~815kh/s, got 1 more card coming). Ive maybe only mined a few thousand shares so far, but anecdotally, i've been under 2% invalid shares all day. Pretty nice.

Oh and I've been CPU mining with the pool for a week (leaving my work PC on), and stale shares are just about 1.0%.

Hodl for the longest tiem.

Smiley lets hope it keeps up. Stratum support is very very close. We are testing it before we try to roll it out
