When is the official launch?

Nobody knows, the site was built in early 2015, and the alpha test was in July, maybe their beta test will be next year, and official launch will be in 2018, and yeah, we will have chance to buy it at 100 sat. LMAO

I don't know about an official roadmap, I don't think they want to constrain themselves like that.  That link is to their whitepaper which describes what they are trying to achieve.

if you know linux anyone can test it out now but you gotta supply your own lbc.

I seriously took a look at this project and i have a very great feeling about it. Fudders (probably all the same dude) dont have any proof of what they are saying. This project remember me FCT at beginning. I bought at 0.0002 and everybody know what happened after

They don't raise any ICO fund, I believe the issue is with the miners, they are the ones selling their tokens this cheap/ or maybe is the whales crashing the price to their own selfish reasons. The project wants to fill a gap that I believe if the developers get it right is going to be a boom, because there is a gap to fill in that market

From this view, the team is legit, because they didn't have ico, and they funded themselves, lbry is a big team, but they owns huge amount of lbry, may be exchanging for future incentives&money.

the biggest portion is set aside for getting large media organizations on board, yeah these guys took a 25% of the premine but that's only 100m coins split between like 8 people.  This gives them incentive to also be able to work their asses off to get the price up and spread out to the users. 

Who cares if they have a zillion coins if there is nobody to sell them to.  They sure have a lot of coins yes, but there's no way they could even sell 1% of their coins without totally killing the market they have been working on for over a year already self funded.

I ain't sure either, I watched a video or picture about their founders in a conference, can't remember clearly, but fortunately it is not an ico coin, can't be defined as "scam"
