This is a great day for Burst. After 1 year of network growth we get a substantial update of the core!

I've updated the Win Client...

... ah, and this BurstDevTeam Account and this Thread is legit.

Thank you daWallet for everything! Much appreciated! I'll update the other OP with download links.

I was confused until I read your post. I thought you were the dev, then I read this post by BurstDevTeam. Are you a member of BurstDevTeam sharing that account with other devs?

This is a new unmoderated Thread by the Burst Developers.

Like daWallet I thought the BurstDevTeam account might not be legit.

Is this a mandatory upgrade? Since you call it a fork and not a "hard fork", I guess it's not mandatory, but I want to be sure.

It is a Soft Fork, so no reason to jump to the version 1.2.4 for now. We are working on it to make it more stable. Stay tuned.

There are just 4 Days left until block 255000 ... update your wallets!
https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/767/howto-update-burstcoin-wallet-from-1-2-3-to-1-2-5

There are several things that could cause 1.2.3 users to fork off from correct fork after that!
1.2.3 wallets can stuck anytime if AT transaction happens, after block 255000!
Anyone on 1.2.3 past the fork point should re-sync when they upgrade!

Could TomPool please be re-added to the pool list? Not sure why it dropped off but its at:

http://mining.tompool.org:82

Running v2 with wallet 1.2.4.

Sure, we can add that for you. It must have been missed, there are a few other pools that need added as well, at least on one of the OPs. I'll make sure this is done for you. Thanks!

Thanks! FYI up-to-date running 1.2.5.

Tompool - http://tompool.org - a 2% fee SHA256/Scrypt/BURST/Groestl multipool supporting ANC, ASC, DGC, EZC, FLO, GLD, GME, MNC, RYC, TGC, TRC, XNC, ZET & more

I'm having problems with 1.2.6 java burstcoin wallet.

i extracted the 1.2.6 download to an empty directory and started the wallet, making it download and rebuild the chain from scratch.

after a long while, i got this on the console :

2016-08-07 12:46:57 INFO: processed block 250000
2016-08-07 12:51:01 INFO: processed block 255000
2016-08-07 12:53:25 INFO: Block not accepted

(suggestion : print out the block# not accepted or some other identification)

when i go to the web interface, i get this :

Recent Blocks :
259289 8/6/2016 01:56:07  270.73862988 + 5       5

but now it is 2016-08-07 and UTC time is 11:16 or thereabouts.

so it seems my wallet printed Block not accepted and then gave up on syncing

Need advice as what to do now.

CTRL+C and then just restart it?

Try restarting it, I'll give this to the dev team.

The new wallet seems to be broken? Everything worked fine at the beginning, but after 2 days of runtime I'm on my own fork.
Now I'm trying to resync the blockchain from the beginning :-(

The block-view in the wallet is showing an unordered list of blocks:

@pinballdude, @maxpayne1256 CTRL+C and then just restart it is never wrong but i suggest delete db-folder re-sync complete ... copy over from 1.2.3 after block 255k is not a good idea.

I am trying to change servers. I am updated to 1.2.6.  When I try to change I get this error: {"errorDescription":"recipient account does not have public key","errorCode":8,"requestProcessingTime":10}.  I am trying to change to pool.burstcoin.biz.  Any ideas? Thanks.

Which burst-id did you enter in the first checkbox? Sounds like a typo or that you have entered "pool.burstcoin.biz". You need to enter the burst-id of this pool (BURST-xxxx... )

I copy/pasted from the mining website (BURST-6WVW-2WVD-YXE5-EZBHU) and copy/pasted my passphrase as well.

Check for trailing spaces when copy-pasting mate, that error is most likely caused by it since the account is not recognized (does not have pubkey...).

That does not seem to be the issue.
