The question will soon be who does not use bitcoin!! There are more and more people learning about bitcoin every day and soon it will be everyone who will know all about it. The question is whether or not they are going to use the currency.
I think if 10% of the people know about the bitcoin and use the bitcoin at least 10 times a year, the price will be very high. Bitcoin adoption can't really be stopped and for sure people would know about Bitcoin. Regarding to your question if people would use Bitcoin then for sure they would definitely use it if they would know it's benefits and potential. People who are into bitcoins surely knows its benefits but its a challenge for us to bring those people to bitcoins who are not aware about it, and if we succeed then we can expect bigger bitcoin in future. You are right, its trully a challenge of letting other people know about bitcoin since not all people are aware already on bitcoin existence for sure. By the way bitcoin adoption cant be stop since there are many ways that it could be introduced without being explained by anybody. Ex. Online merchants which accepts bitcoin as a payment. |

Hi I wonder about the demographics of bitcoin. Who uses it, race, location, gender?
I read the coindesk paper on it, but wonder if there is some other more updated documentation on it.

I do not make use of Bitcoin as an currency because I want to make money and if I decide to spend them I am spending my investment. That way you are never going to make money so spending Bitcoin is not the option for me. |

I do use bitcoin for paying my host as well to make live some new projects, but i do believe almost all here do use bitcoin for shoping others work to get them as a extra source of income, and few as salary.

I do exactly the same as you. I do some freelancers to receive Bitcoin and paid my hosts with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. |

People belonging to all sections of society are not using bitcoins as most of them are not familiar with bitcoin.
Some people use bitcoin for trading.

I don't think there are any documented research news or demographical classification for BTC user, There were few researches and ones even posted in this discussion topic but no results where published here.
I think the average BTC users are males, whites, Caucasians and mostly from US and few other european countries, a large portion from south asia as well.

It really depends on how you define 'use'. I imagine most
people "using" bitcoin are using it in the same sense.
For me, people who use bitcoin as remittance instead of bank.
Were transferring money over bitcoin is as easy and gives low fees.
Bitcoin is really giving a big impact to all users, since it helps a
lot who earns in bitcoin.

I don't think there is the average user.
While some just make a few transactions a year to buy something online, others really try to live some kind of bitcoin idea and ise it everywhere possible.
But in general I would say that the female fraction is slightly underrepresentated.
I can imagine this would be a good topic for somebodys dissertation.

Now more and more people are using bitcoin, more ordinary non nerdy people like myself. Mothers, grandmothers, fathers and everyone in between. It isn't just for the Techies anymore. So this is really good actually for the long term.

It is really difficult to do survey, because most of the user prefer to stay hidden, but most of my friends know bitcoin is around 20 years old, so i supposed the average of bitcoin user is around 20 to 30, and the user is spread in all around the world, but the most user i think is china

lots of differant people use bitcoin everyday.
Actually, its really hard to do surveys because most of the users are still secret or invisible but I very much agree to you mate! Different people from different culture and countries uses it. And I believe that bitcoin would long last as we go on over it. |

It's very difficult to answer this question. We don't have any statistic or research about it, so we can't talk about gender, nationality, age etc. I think that Bitcoin uses open minded people, who are not afraid to try something new, people ready to change and adapt etc. Bitcoin is basically way of life and way of thinking, not just some ''virtual currency.'' In my opinion this is the better way to earn some BTC Selling domain or making a website driving a traffic on it and earn bitcoin  also making small or big task with pays you bitcoin is one of the best way to earn big in bitcoins But it is not always because it is projects. As signature campaigns it is weekly as long as you post on that week |
