So still not released? I can't wait. The launch time is delayed, delayed again. Dev team, do more preparation work.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

So it's been delayed, which is probably a good thing. Gives procrastinators like me more time to get in and the dev team more time to release a solid product. This always happens in crypto, delays bugs and more delays whatev.

Delaying is acceptable, at least better than buggy and forked blockchain. We still need to wait for launch.

Right on man, so this project seems to be related to NXT in someway. TLDR going through the ANN can someone simplify it for me how they are related or if not related? thanks in advance.

Iirc HEAT is build using modified NXT code. A lot of it have been changed to allow for scaleability and some of the other features but it started development as a NXT clone.

Thanks for working so hard on HEAT @ devs. Can't wait for first release. Hopefully it is within the next week.
Maybe mainnet can launch Oct 1st ?

I was hoping forums would be up this weekend.

Is there a chance of shifting to another ardor like blockchain-as-a-service platform the same way with NXT?

Why would they shift when they have spend a lot of time building the HEAT platform?
I dont know enough about ardor to directly compare them but ardor uses child chains to solve scaling, HEAT does not.

They will have the company HEAT Ledger, but I am not sure which types of services they will offer.

they can delay 6 months as well, if they deliver a working finish product. its making absolutely no sense to distribute the tokens for a network without features.

Cant understand why people dont get that.

May I ask how old you are? Maybe its the problem of not being an adult to understand that.

Durring tests HEAT have been able to do +150k tps. The final number is yet to be determined as there is a lot of moving parts to it, which is why they said 1000 tps as they were sure it would be at least that much.

Looking at the tech overview of bitshares, they do some of the things that HEAT does but does not have as many features.

How does Bitshares deal with blockchain bloat? HEAT clients does not need a blockchain file which I think is a nice feature.
