Cool, even then, I never spewed garbage while participating in a signature campaign. Im just saying because you post a couple shitposts while wearing a signature is not the end of the world, but I was cautious about it and still ended up there.

Really?

Nobody knows about bitcoin in real life. If you could go and ask to 10 people, you would find out that 0 would know what bitcoin is. So its like 1 in 100 people maybe have heard of it.

Go all in on Bitcoin, pretty sure we will be above 1000 in a year, it's that easy to be honest.

I can see kids making bitcoins in the future through youtube video and social media. Some kids now have huge followings and make money with ad revenue.

Yeah I already saw it, it's prety decent and professional, but I would not recommend blockchain.info to store any relevant amount of bitcoins.

Post #5; you're simply using vague and general terms to describe the ad yet fail to explain why - this sentence could apply to many threads.

We don't stop seeing people saying how they lost passwords, hard drives and so on, losing coins forever.

Is this rate of coins being lost bigger than the rate coins are being generated at?

Created thread: this is a pointless thread and can only lead to senseless spam

I trust institutions increasingly less yearly, I only feel safe by carrying bitcoins at this point.

Though I don't deny that you have some quality posts there, I found far too many useless ones. When the thread already has so many replies and you post with a generic answer that can be thought of in less than 10 seconds, is that really constructive?

All campaings that pay decently use SMAS except betcoin.ag which actually take the time to select members for themselves.
I was not aware of this, source?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0

That's just a list of signature campaigns. What are your intentions by posting this?

You are going to raise standards so high that you'll end up banning like 99% of people from campaigns.
~18% of the total users (normal list + special list + banned list) are currently enrolled in Bitmixer. I've actually had a small *spike* of very constructive users lately, thus your argument is invalid.

I never had a single problem in the endless sig campaigns i've participated at, always told that I did a good job. It's only after the SMAS thing started that I get insta rejected because all managers do is copy+c on your nickname and ctrl+f on this thread, if you are there then you are fucked, it's as simple as that, and it's unfair. Im sure I would have been able to participate in all those campaigns managed by yahoo in a pre-SMAS environment.

Managers operate at their own discretion. They can choose to follow the SMAS list or not.

Yahoo just copies whatever people you add on your list.
If he trusts my judgement, then he may do that. If he wants to double check or doesn't trust my judgement then he will review the users in question. Either way, there was at least 1 manager that had a problem with you 1 point in time.

Cool, even then, I never spewed garbage while participating in a signature campaign.
Take a look at the post above this one.

This shows nothing. There is no indication as to which campaigns use SMAS. That might actually be an useful (additional) column.

When was my bitmixer ban? I would like a review.
You were banned in Round 4, which was in early November. Regarding that review: PM me. Keep in mind that there are several people in queue before you. I plan to finish all of these within the week.

-snip-
That's a nice evaluation right there. Thank you.

I've just checked, and it seems that Lutpin took the full list instead of the list with people that got banned for spamming. The people that were personally banned by Yahoo shouldn't be in the SMAS list, similarly the people that I've banned for breaking the rules in Bitmixer shouldn't (and aren't) either.
Updated both lists and the combined list in the first reply.
Laudas list currently covers 203 users, the one by yahoo includes 182.
In combination, 283 users are included on the blacklist.
I neither used the list with inactives from yahoo, nor the one with rulebreakers from Lauda, so this is a pure list of spammers.

There are a couple of accounts which have been mentioned twice - Pattart and Vero.
If you remove them, the number of users in the blacklist drops slightly.

So my account is...

SMAS Blacklisted: Yes

Really? Well guys, you can stick that up your arse!

I don't know what it is, or why I have been blacklisted, but it makes no difference to me whatsoever.

-rageposting-

Interestingly, you say "it makes no difference to me whatsoever" and then start writing a bunch of butthurt lines and "blacklisting people for no reason".

Nice post history you've got.

This is all within your most recent 40 posts. Don't do any attacks on me to try and justify yourself and hide the fact that the posts are trash. If you are able to justify all of those posts then you should be taken off the list.

Otherwise, don't waste your time.

However, there is less spam and shit on Bitcointalk now than earlier. It is an important benefit.

Manipulation? You can't ignore the fact that SMAS has such a major positive impact on the forum due to a lot spammers have been stopped and forced to improve themselves in order to get unbanned.

Instead of complaining and looking at what others do, try your best to improve the quality of your post where you can ask for an account review by the managers behind SMAS. And who knows, you may get unbanned.

I already see that (previously) notorious spammers are doing their best to up the quality of their posts. Bitmixer was a campaign that had so many people spamming the forum, that Lauda took over and cleaned everything thoroughly.

If you look right now, then the majority of the spammers come from secondstrade and qtum. But then again, qtum accepts even SMAS blacklisted users, so in that matter, these users spamming is no surprise at all.

I'd suggest limiting signature campaign max posts, because if the signature campaign allows 50posts per day and does not do reviews of those posts, of course people will take advantage of those signature campaigns. That's just my thoughts tho.

It's not about manipulation its more on helping the community clean the posts that are garbage, redundant and non-sense. I myself is in the list but no complaints here because I know that at some point I messed up as well and did not consider checking if my post qualifies as a good post or just to qualify and get paid for it.

Hi,as per rule one has an option to repeal to get his name removed after one month of when it was included in the list. I don't see the date of ban against member's name in the list, how is someone suppose to know when his name was added so he can appeal after one month?

Wait out a month after you find out. It really isn't that difficult.  Tongue
You would know when you last applied to a campaign managed by SMAS.

If you were blacklisted here by lauda then i think you should remove your signature before asking for review. Based on this reply of lauda.
Sure. If you do ask for one, and there have been little to no sign of required improvement then you're moving onto the permanent blacklist.

Hi, I made Luada's SMAS list in mid January.  I was posting infrequently due to helping with a family health emergency since early December which I can prove with medical records.  When I did log on to post I think it was considered too many posts in one day.  I have not been posting much lately and have no signature.  I am not sure I want to be in a campaign anymore, just want the blacklist removed if possible. Thank you.

?? I was just told by yahoo that I'm on the SMAS blacklist. Am I missing something? I don't see my name anywhere on these lists. Can I get Lutpin yahoo or Lauda to let me know?

Also, it's not shown here: https://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info/?token=m49l19e2

Requests should be sent via PM to avoid cluttering this thread.

What's the point of wanting to be removed from the list if you don't plan on participating in campaigns anyways? It's redundant to even attempt it in this case.

I don't see you on mine. Maybe Yahoo added you to his, but has not updated his thread/list yet. You should talk to him.
