I think it's to early to do that, saving bitcoin for my children. Because i'm still 20 and i'm not even have a girlfriend, lol. But i will do it for sure, if i already married and have a child.

So you won't be having a grand child if you won't go out and find one, you are too young to just sit around in front of your computer, remember that song 7 years, that's true... But anyway, if I can't make a bitcoin for my grand child, I would just  bought one for them...For sure they will exist when I am already retired and for sure I will receive a retirement pay...  Smiley

My children can earn their own money. I was smart enough to invest in Bitcoin and I should also be able to reap the rewards of it, and that's what I'm going to do.

But, with the respect to saving money or bitcoin, starting earlier must be the right option.

I like to suggest as you got very good opportunity to make your married life as well as your children's lives more prosperous if you plan up right away. Starting saving bitcoin earlier in the age of 20 itself, must be life's very big gift. You may get chances of becoming millionaire by your 30th birthday itself and your son may born as millionaire too.

At the time of our child /grand child bitcoin would be famous world wide or it will get disappeared but i am sure than if I save 1 btc for them then at that time its value will me much more than current value. So they would be happy to get those digital assets. Gifting a digital asset always feels good because it unique and new innovation in technology.

Yes, to save bitcoin for your children, you need not to be even married. Yes, you can start saving even you are being a child. Saving as a child for your child is possible with bitcoin and it is mostly recommended in my view too.

Because, saving bitcoin must be possible and profitable only for our generation. There is no guarantee that same opportunity will be available to our son or grandson.

ahh jomblo ngenes  Cheesy jones.
hang out bro, don't waste your time on computer only Smiley
anyway saving our bitcoin for our grand child is good idea than we save some fiat.

jomblo ngenes? what is that?  Grin

i think its a good thing that we prepare our children, grand children for saving some bitcoin to them so if they are grew up, they have a saving in bitcoin that ready to withdraw and we just hope that bitcoin will stay as long as our grand children in future. i think in every month, we can separate some amount like 0.3 bitcoin for them and in a years, it will be 3.6 bitcoin.

Exactly, saving bitcoin is good but we are not sure how long bitcoin will survive and there is a full chance that it may get replaced by some other currency in future.

its a gud choice to save somthing for ur children n grandchildren bitcoin is a medium to secure ur future. and as we know that the value of bitcoin increases with passage of time so if we keep our bitcoins till the time of our grandchildren then they will be millionaire with those bitcoins.

It is not a bad idea but I have to see for my self how much money I am going to make from Bitcoin because I am here to make some extra money.
If I make enough to leave some behind for my children and grand children then I will do that.

Thats a cool idea. But I would rather open like a savings account for them, just to be safe. Not saying that btc in unsafe though, it's just that its safer to use local currency.

Indeed the idea is very nice but it's not THAT safe is it and you would love safety for your (grand) children.
So I'd probably even invest into gold for them and pass that investment when they turn 18.

Bitcoin is a long term project. Therefore it makes sense to save small parts over a long horizon. Do you save Bitcoins for your (grand) child or children?

For those who do not have (grand) children (yet), would you save Bitcoin for them if you would have (grand) children?
since i am at the age of 28 year . i have one little baby . i have saved with his name about 0.1btc . i think the amount of 0.1btc is small but over think that after 10-20 year what will be price , it may will be equal to 1btc after a long time .

I think you mean it will be equal to what 1 BTC is equal now. Well, yeah, I think the price of 0.1 will be even higher in 20 years, and that's not because of the Inflation of the US Dollar, we are talking about the real rising in value when you can buy more things with 1 BTC.

My son is about to turn one this November and was thinking of setting aside a portion of my bitcoins for him. He has all the time in the world to watch and let it grow, even without him knowing.Much like a savings account, I would try to regularly put a little amount every month in a wallet that's solely for him. Would be nice to give him something substantial by the time he is old enough to handle his own finances.

I'm saving some of my bitcoin earnings, yes, but I never thought that it would be for my grand child  Grin Well maybe because I'm too young, I don't even have a child yet. However, I'm saving it for my family's future, esp. for my parents (and maybe grand child belongs here in the future?). I believe that saving is a good idea, thinking and hoping that it will be worth using for in the future.

same here. I just haven't thought that I will save some of my bitcoins for my children and my grandchildren. probably because I'm a student and not married yet, so I just think that the money I earn now is for my needs so I don't ask money from my family any longer, and to help my mother to pay my sister's school payment. just it.

I will not block my money by just holding some Bitcoins for so long, instead I will prefer to trade to grow and to make some money out of that amount. Future is unseen and don't know what reserves for Bitcoin so having good use of money is modest way to deal. It is not for me to throw some money and let it lock in wallet for years from now.

why not. imagine you grandparents bought a piece of gold for you. they looked it away and forgot about it. they did not mind it and nobody was missing anything in their lives. today for you this peace of gold could be worth much more and would be quite nice to have. why not just look some bitcoin away and give it to them in 20-30 years. beside that you can still do whatever you like with the rest of your money.

It depends on what  kind of person we are, some  are not sensible enough to   think of these things   because they  dont  mind    regarding  on their  grandchildrens  because they are thinking  to theirselves  which they like to make  benefit on bitcoin they have and dont intend to share. lol

I am still unmarried so I don't think I will be able to save for them as may be in next few years bitcoin will be replaced by some other currency and in that case it will waste my coins, so I will prefer to spend them on myself.

you sound so selfish and without any faith in bitcoin Smiley

bitcoin is just starting to grow and become bigger, it is not a century old technology to become outdated and be replaced with something new this easily.

I think everyone is thinking for their children first and if they have grand children then they should think for the future of their gran children and save money for them, and for me the answer is yes i want to save bitcoins for my grand son/ daughter to give them a good future and also to meet their study and other expenses.
