People those with idea of making money from best markets will choose ETC without staying in thoughts. We have seen over and over again when bull run returns every little or bigger market get benefit of that. ETC has support and where is support and financially strong parties are standing on should be your choice. It is good for investment for medium term without doubts.
Don't forget that Greyscale investement trust is invested in ETC (as well in BTC, MANA and other coins), I don't think that they want to see it dead |

I think since the transition to the PoS ETH will fall in 2 times because mining is half of the ecosystem of the ETH, applications-the second half. Now add this half of the marketcap to the ETC and count how much XXX ETC will grow

I think right now the best coin to mine and hold is ETC because it will most likely go up ICO's are scared to use ETH now because it dropped so much most of the projects are now going to be bankrupt so new projects will be looking for another chain for their tokens not to mention ETH's switch to POS most project's that use pos the only way to make any profits is to have a large amount to stake and DPOS I think is centralized only a handful of nodes will be able to collect mining rewards, SO like I said ETC will only go UP
Edit: Also if no one thinks that Dan Larimer didn't run a year long ICO just to collect as much ETH than try to sink ETH better think again he couldn't face the fact that Vitalik Buterin built a better project

The viability of ETC rests on 3 advantages:
1. That Ethereum will move to PoS & sharding
2. That it is an immutable, fully integrated, PoW, Turing-complete blockchain
3. That the world will not use one, but several base layer blockchains

Anyone know if Dexaran is actively developing on Ethereum Classic again? Last time I heard of him was for Callisto, then he disappeared (it seems, I really don't know)
