First post. Lurker for a while. Have bitcoin and trying to get into mining. I'm fascinated by the GPU -> ASIC transition.

I'm curious how the faucets work. Do you find it worthwhile?

Some faucets pay and some don't.  In the end, you're better off mining yourself if your miner is good enough.  I believe your Dell is a laptop which probably has ordinary graphics.  If you use a desktop, try to look for a cheap used Radeon HD 5850, which has one of the best bang for the bucks (or is it bangs for the buck?) in terms of hash/sec/$, although probably not in terms of power savings.

Butterfly Labs has a different interpretation of the FTC Mail Order Rule.  You do not have a refund option with the BFL Monarch no matter how late they ship.

Howdy All!

First post here, registered back in 2011, been lurking ever since. Thought I would finally decide to post!

Anywho, my name's Chris and I'm from Australia. I work in retail as a salesperson, and I am studying business management at university.

Not sure what else to post here, so I'll leave you with the following:

Hi everyone!  I've been a lurker here for a while, and I appreciate all of the great information everyone has posted over the last several months.  I guess it's about time I sign up and (hopefully) contribute to the discussion.

I look forward to seeing everyone around the forums!
