This is really a theft. For many sources and forums people say about it. A bitfinex still wants to attract many customers, and probably to rob again.

Learning about the DAO cases and the results are negative and I'm very doubt about that, there is someone is can catch them. the hacker is always using the doubled or tripled encrypted connection. like a miracle to catch them

this could be a good way for bitfinex hacker to clean up their name and receive a clean money , 6,000 bitcoin are fair enough for them. they could create a scenario like this : tell them a fake information , returned the whole stolen bitcoin and they recieved a fresh 6,000 bitcoin without any problem.

This is really a theft. For many sources and forums people say about it. A bitfinex still wants to attract many customers, and probably to rob again.

To me bitfinex is a shady exchange. Most of the things they do are not clear. Them being hacked and have 'lost' that many bitcoins is strange.
They offered the best security with a third party. Impossible to hack and even the third party acknowledge that there was no breach..

Hope due funds will be returned back...cause it will mean a great loss..

It might be able to do bitfinex, when bitfinex get loan from an investor or company that works with bitfinex. This may be harmful, but this isn't likely to happen if the bitfinex gives only a false confession (confess because of the hacking exposed)

It's unlikely that there's still anyone who'd like to give bitfinex a loan considering the issue that they have right now.
Even if they try to go back, their reputation is already shattered. They must try to solve this problem over time like charging more transaction fees and collecting some donations.

Crowd funding has become most common now a days, this time we may see for a peculiar reason.

Wow, That's an enormous bounty, I'm sure the hackers did a very good job (in covering their tracks) and left without a trace, but 3.6m is enough to entice the best data forensics experts in the world to trace the hackers. I hope they get somewhere (but doubt they will find enough evidence)

 It's amusing me how their friends from whalepool are trying to defend Bitfinex. I am almost "crying" .    .

Did you really? That's somewhat reassuring. I do hope bitfinex is true to their words that they're trying to return all the funds to the owners. If that's so, then finex can actually go back and stand on it's feet again, although with a shattered reputation in terms of security.
