Croatia - Serbia

shame that they have to play but only one team will go trough

I would prefer to choose Serbia between the two, I have seen how the serbians play and they are really a threat in this competition. On the other hand, I am also rooting for the USA regardless who they will be facing with.

Australia - Lithuania. I pick Lithuania. Both teams are not very talented and don't play nice basketball. Lithuania looked terrible in last two group games. But we have good experience few last international tournaments playoff stage. I believe we can play better.
Spain - France. I pick Spain. They started group stage hardly like everytime, but then trashed Lithuania and Argentina. I think Spain only team which can beat USA.
USA- Argentina. Offcourse I pick USA. They will start to play seriously. It's a bit sad that era of Ginobili, Scola, Nocioni and other Argentina stars will end only in quarterfinal

I agree that Australia have better chances to win, I think chances for Australia to win is 60%. Lithuania didn't showed all what they can. Australia looking strong, but they not so much better than Lithuania. But maybe there only my emotion talks, because I'm from Lithuania.

In quarter finals rounds I think Spain vs France will be tough match because both teams are looking at the same level into this event, rest of the matches will be won by favorite teams easily like USA, Australia and Croatia, USA is still much strongest team and will win Gold Medal.

I also agree that Australia will beat Lithuania as they have been playing some good basketball during this tournament and are out to prove to the world that they can match it will the top teams in the world. Too bad the Women's Australian basketball team lost and it's the first time in 6 Olympic games that they won't be playing for a medal.
