I have been saying this many times and falls under deaf ears. BTC will stay under $600 until the end of the year. But right now most of the people here are still in denial. Once they realize that it will really stay under $600 they will start getting angry. So expect many bearish threads and "bitcoin is dead" threads to come.

Talk is cheap, while there are still four months remaining till the end of the year, anything can happen... Are you ready to put your money where your mouth is?



So how much are you going to stake exactly?

How can I put my money where my mouth is when I said BTC will not go over $600 until the end of the year or maybe more? I will buy lower when BTC is at bargain prices. Right now especially after the Bitfinex hack I'll wait it out.

Why don't you just short it on margin?

No. I would prefer to put money in a stable altcoin than short on margin. Trading on leverage is the fastest way to make money but also the fastest way lose your money. Believe me, I have tried it once and only once. Never again.

But let us get back on topic. How can you deny that BTC is going sideways-slightly down right now and could stay under $600 until the end of the year or later. I am not saying that it is a bad thing. It is actually good because it needs to be accumulated first before it can go up again.

This is not a brag and it is not a prediction. I am just trying to tell everyone what is happening right now. Bitcoin has to go down a little bit more and be accumulated at a lower price before it can go up again. It is still a seller's market right now so why risk buying now when you can buy at a lower price?

Also I can be wrong because there could be a pump coming. But with all the variables staying the same we might not see this go up above $600 for a while.

You should know that bitcoin is a crypto currency, and if in this time, it is down, so why you worried about it, also bitcoin is under $500 to $600, so it is  not too much low price which we take tension. Also the time is not far when bitcoin will be going to up. But one think is clear, that bitcoin is not going to dead, so use you sense and look at the reality, nothing is wrong.

Yes Bitcoin has dropped a bit, but the loss compared to the MtGox hack is much lower.
(I would have to dig up the exact loss in value)

This is a really good thing because it shows how much more stable the currency is.

I think it will move above $600 this year. It could drop back down, but I think we will continue to see increases some for the remainder of the year.

Anything could happen with the bitcoin price. On this account and with the potential bitcoin has I believe bitcoin surely grows higher than $600 at times and at the same has the possibility to go sub $600.

I am much more optimistic. I think the bitcoin price will be $600 or higher in October. In December, the price will be $800.

Still have chance to 700+ end of the year.I think next month also price will be around $550 to $600.I sold my coin when price was $750 and start buying.I will buy under $600.I really think pump and dump really bad for bitcoin in this way some people are winner and most of the people are looser.

Most people are holding their BTC and hoping for $1000 coins. 
The only people spending coins are probably on darknet markets.

yes to some who have little capital it would have less impact. we should have a substantial capital in order to generate profits .For me save bitcoin is an investment for the future.

I never said there is something wrong about it. Please reread what I said and try to understand what I am trying to say. I also never said BTC is dying.

Yes I use my common sense because when I look at the price of bitcoin, there is no sign right now that will make it go over $600. This could go on until the end of the year or longer because people will get anxious and start to unload because of their impatience. There is also the miners to think about. They need to sell their BTC mined to continue and maintain their operations, the same with the bitcoin merchants and businesses.

The term "big investment" is relative. For one person $300 is a being considered to be a big investment, while for the other $10,000 is seen as playing money. I have seen someone complain that the value of his coins went down from $100 to $90 not long ago.

Nah, there are enough people spending their coins on things such as digital goods. It's not only the deep wep markets that make people spend their coins. But then again, deep web markets show how great Bitcoin is as payment option for marketplaces in general.

I do not think the bitcoin price will rise within a month. If there is no further good news, the price will stay here.

end of the year is 4 months away and in these 4 months a lot of things can happen with bitcoin which can make the price go up again at least above $600.
this is why i never like the long term exact predictions about bitcoin, you can only talk about short term with bitcoin.

it's quite easy to assume the price will go over $600 as we're not very far away from that price level right now. but don't forget about the selling pressure that we have to deal with. it's not directly visible to some people, but over a period of a few months you'll see that the price has been going lower and lower. i don't see this change any time soon.
