Obviously there is not more usefull coin now, and most people preffer accepting Bitcoin when you give them option what coin they accept. The altcoin exchange is a playground for speculators, and Im surprised Bitcoin still has such high % of total market cap when there are hundreds of altcoins and their market cap is so much higher than their real coin usage would suggest - but it is how market cap works, pretty inaccurate measurement of coin useability.

But 100k+ per Bitcoin in the next 5 to 10 years is so far off, so I actually doubt about the state of OP mind when he was posting.

for the next 10-15 years maybe bitcoin will be dominate the cryptoworld however i doubt that there is any other cryptocurrency or altcoin that compete with bitcoin in fututre. As we can see that there are many rising competitors out there, but for the moment there are no better than bitcoin by it's technology and popularity, but it just mater of time hoping bitcoin still being mother of crypto at least in this century

All those FUDsters that where saying year ago how Bitcoin would fail because another currency would take over get proven wrong year after year. The more time Bticoin is alive, the stronger it gets and the bigger the network effect. Sorry but there will not be a Bitcoin 2.0. Bitcoin will go to 100k+ per coin in the next 5 to 10 years, it will absorb all the value researched in the field if not directly through protocol improvements then through sidechains.

Bitcoin will remain the only solid coin. The only coin that survived for the longest time (other coins can't claim this unless they invent a time machine).
There will be alts that pump really hard and make people millionaires, but no alt is going to surpass Bitcoin's strength and solidity. No coin will get a bigger marketcap. In the long term people holding 21+ BTC will be rewarded by history with rich-tier status for seeing the value in it before most people did. Do not let the FUDsters trick your mind or the trolls try to derrail the excellent job being done by Core devs.

Let's continue then our path towards inevitable triumph.

I agree with you , Bitcoin will remain the best cryptocurrency and all other altcoins is just a way to earn more Bitcoin by trading .
I think Bitcoin has many competitors , the first one is Ethereum , but the last hack forced ETH on retraction , but I believe that no coin will reach what Bitcoin has reached .

also the price of bitcoin right now is not increasing day by day instead the price of bitcoin is decreasing every hours.
But i believe that bitcoin will be still stay as king of the coin and the price too will be more valuable in the future..

This trend will probably continue and in a few years there will be people using cryptocurrencies that do not know what bitcoin is.

Exchange dominance is not valid factor which you can use to say if coin is successful or now. Altcoins have high trading capacities because they are tool for speculators.
And great number of bitcoiners are just holders and position traders patiently waiting for their time. This situation won't be reflected in any trading volume.

I agree to this as no Altcoins can be compared to bitcoins.  None of the Altcoin is near in terms of volume or price to bitcoins. People buy altcoin just to get the profit and then sell them again for bitcoins.

Altcoins are good lab for experiment new features and new improvements, in my opinion

I think better to stay at bitcoin instead of altcoin because they are just copycut from bitcoin.. they are just added feature to attract investor to invest..

at current scale there is no direct compititor but all the altcoins are a type of compititor of bitcois we can not compare on the bases of price but on the bases of difficulty and market valumne there will always be a compition for becomin the most stable vertual currency

Bitcoin is great for everyday transactions. I see the use and need for Bitcoin only increasing. I'm a big BTC fan and user.

But for transactions where you want privacy, there are better options, like Monero.

So many altcoins don't have any substantive differences from Bitcoin, so that makes them useless from a utilitarian perspective although people still make (and lose) money trading them. If they want to do that, I say go for it.

There are quite a lot of actively traded and pricey alt coins around. I think Bitcoin will always remain #1 but they still have competition.

That is not really considered a competition since the altcoins would only be hyped for a time being and after pump and dump session, it's all gone. I mean, that altcoin's use is done. Being a pioneer, bitcoin is unbeatable and incomparable while considering for a competition with similar systems.

I think even coinbase are added ethereum it will not affect the value and i think many investors are in ethereum thats why they are now partner with coinbase.. but i dont believe in ethereum that it will be more popular than bitcoin. ethereum is experience of hack so i dont trust it again..

There will never be a cryptocurrency that can compete with bitcoin, no competition yeah no and with the time will pass 5-20 year more, bitcoin will be still number one. I don't want to predict the price that would be achieved but one thing we still have a chance to seeing the price in the moon.
