Maybe I missed it somehow, but how exactly are we going to receive the funds? I guess we don't have to be in control of the priv keys of whatever we send in, but I think you'll have a wallet to download and we create an address, which our funds will be deposited to, right? If yes, what will be the main platform? Is it going to be on Linux/windows/Mac OSX? Or online wallet?

It will work on ETH platform so you will need an ETH wallet like Mist or any other to receive coins after ICO finish.
You need to be registered and logged in when you send the founds from your BTC address. So till ICO finish that account is your key.

I am a little confused. So you mean registered and logged in to the ETH wallet, right? I am not sure why it is involved the BTC address. Shouldn't be I get ICN after ICO then is deposited to the ETH wallet?

If you purchase ICN with BTC then your BTC address is involved, pretty simple.

Yes im shock too and they have 182 investors.Im think they can reach the threshold amount if they see the potential of this ICONOMI the investor go to invest to it.

I was thinking that I was the first one to invest in ICONOMI.

I think that you should start and make a bug bounty for those that finds bug in the website.

Around 12 hours and iconomi has received $140,000+, I can count this as a good start and until the end of ICO we will see millions obviously.

Don't forget that the first wave of hyped project is always the biggest, as the time flows numbers will decrease gradually.
I've seen this pattern many times so I expect we might see a million dollar here, but I would be very surprised to see it goes any higher.

We should wait and see after the 1st week. I'm waiting at least a few days before I invest. I want to really understand it.

From what I've read so far, you want to develop a coin that does not require mining. I was wondering how P2P transactions will be verified if you do not have miners at work, or am I missing something?

Probably proof of stake, like other coins. NXT, NEM.

I would assume PoS as well. And while a lot of coins feel that you have to offer massive interest rates, you really don't -- the toll staking takes on your system/electricity is negligible, so running the wallets non-stop isn't an issue for most people.

No extra coins besides the first 100 mio. It uses the eth network for transactions so no need for mining or PoS. 100mio coins thats it.

I like that. A hard cap is awesome. And technically it'll decrease each year from people losing private keys, sending to the wrong addresses, etc.

That is correct. Other people losing keys won't deliver bigger dividends, but will create token more scarce.

This leads to a question... that means that part of the dividends are essentially getting burned as well, correct? I get the concept, I just feel like there should be a better way to handle this. Though I guess in a decentralized system, that's not possible any other way.

You answered all the questions, but dodged MoveCrypto's twice. I have a felling you dont quite understand your own plan. You even admit that in the part about transparency of trades made in the fund. But hey, if people want to invest their money in things they dont understand just because they have a good feeling, who am i to judge. Spend them dollars kids! How can we get a clear overview of fund managers if they are doing their trading on non-transparent exchanges like Poloniex?  What stops me from posing as a fund manager on this platform, and running a pyramid scheme?

Wow, over 300 btc worth money within 1 day, I am sure this project will reach their target easily. Look other teams/projects, can't get 300 btc in 1-2 months, this project is rather successful.
