Clock is ticking!!! Grin Grin Grin

The closer we get to chewing through all 2 million shares, the faster they will be bought up. I'm sure a lot of people are holding their money back and hoping to buy at the last possible moment. That will be fun to watch.

If we look back a week, we were stuck at .0008 due to flippers. A lot of them must be kicking themselves now.

Caution suggests waiting to hear the news.

Lots of people are probably waiting to buy shares below the 0.0025BTC wall if some shareholders decide to undercut AMC after the announcement. Actually, some are already doing so.

News could be incredible... or not.

The wall as of now is effectively 3,519,717 shares because of the additional 2,000,000 shares which were offered on BTC-TC. It is relatively easy to arbitrage the security on the two exchanges (BTC transfers are quick/easy after all), so I doubt the price will rise much on BitFunder even if it does burn through it's 2,000,000 shares first.

Massive offering dictates that the new needs to be massive, or the security may stagnate and potentially lose ground.

People have created so much hype and expectation about this news, that it's almost impossible for any news to live up to the expectations now. No matter what the news are, most likely it will be less amazing, world-changing and mind bending than some people here anticipate.

As we get closer to selling the rest of the shares, it will be interesting to see how if affects the securities around AMC. Wouldn't be suprised if we see a sizable dip.

When AMC has their massive mining operation fully engaged (months? and months? from now), I hope they take steps to operate any solo-mining pool from a well-connected node. I am getting damn frustrated with the low transaction numbers in ASICMINER's solo-mined blocks. Miners, please help support a more efficient bitcoin network.

As more shares are bought logic dictates that AMC will have the funds in hand to cover what they want to accomplish. More shares bought, more confidence in the company.

Wishful thinking that share price will dip, but some have to lose so others can gain I suppose.

Isn't that what I said?

When AMC is almost selling out their shares at .0025, I suspect there will be selling in other securities to purchase AMC.

I thought this was not really possible and that whichever block you mine is purely based on luck ?

You could be right. So im testing this out with 4x PUT options i just purchased. B/E @ 3.325 with 1d 9h expiry.

Lets see if you/we are correct. If it comes good, where do i exit?

Can someone just post an honest number on the BTC/USD value of AMC @ current share price? Are we really talking about 100.000.000 shares @ 0.0025 BTC each? Cause.. DAMN that is a high valuation (if this is the case)

It's whatever the dividends are worth to you. Early adopters are said to make their entire initial investment @ .0005 back within a year. Ken says the company is valued at something like 15-20x .005

This is pretty good:
So, I did some new estimations taking into consideration the latest available info. I am only considering income from Avalon chips atm (baseline performance expectation). Please examine all numbers carefully. Smiley

Please take everything with a grain of salt (!), as these are only previsions based on speculative data. I welcome any contributions for accuracy! Wink

Comments:
  • Upfront Avalon 10k chips cost of BTC1000 for each 10k chip order + board assembly, conservative scenario of 3 month delivery from order to mining start
  • Network hashrate includes AMC hashrate and 103TH in august, and assumes a 15% increase per month (geometric progression, r=1.15), with an estimated 660TH/s by december.
  • Operating expenses estimated at 10%.
  • Share valuation reflects the % of accumulated profit/share divided by the bought share price. A 100% figure means the share price is fully paid by earned dividends.
  • Used my estimations on sold share price as described below (average of 0.0005 for the 1st 5M and 0.0008 for the rest 15M); will correct when precise figures are released
  • In may/14 the issuer starts receiving dividends on 40M general purpose shares, which are free to use for any growth/expansion/investment/salary purposes; in any case, the displayed share valuation takes into account as if no benefits are coming from these shares (so you can see what you'll receive in the worst case scenario)

This info would indicate that unless the company turns out to be an almost overnight success, the current 0.0025 share price (5x 0.0005 in.. what a few weeks?) is fairly high.

Indeed. Nothing consistent will come of our speculation before knowing the news coming out today. I know it's hard, but WAIT FOR IT guys! Grin

That's what I'm thinking. Right now, pretty much anything short of 'We are acquiring Intel' will be a disappointment.
