.0025 Shares sold on Bifunder: 432,649 .0025 Shares sold on BTC-TC: 511,678 Total: 944,327
944323/4000000 = 0.23608075 = ~23.6 % funded
Thanks! The raised capital from those is already more than enough. Even if not a single more share is sold, and considering tough difficulty estimates, the revenue from the incoming hardware (especially the 20.000 Avalon chips) is more than enough to put AMC above the $1M mark (see last row).

Why then sell more shares if that's not necessary? Or why not sell the same amount of shares but at a lower price? It's a honest question.

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's. This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

The more are sold, the faster AMC gets everything rolling, instead of waiting for dividends. True, AMC could stop selling, and just pay the NRE in fractions (which is probably going to happen anyway). Selling shares at a lower price would be very bad for investors that bought at .0025 already. That price can be justified (yes, I know, not everyone agrees!!!) as they are now getting into AMC at a much less riskier price point. Remember that it was thanks to initial investors that AMC has all the above hardware coming. If not for them, we would be in doubt right now if there would be enough $ to pay the NRE. Thanks to them, there isn't.

I think it's a good thing that Ken decided to basically put a stop to this rise before it's got to crazy. Imagine the outrage if he had decided to let the price grow to 0.004 for example, only to drop shares at 0.0008 later when the company needs funds again.

People were buying 0.279's before you forced it down to where your placed issues are now. TF, im not saying you are wrong, i genuinely need to know the difference here. Thanks

I want to know more about eASIC. How do they perform their simulations? Can we see some of the 16 GH/s results? I don't ask these questions out of skepticism. I ask out of enthusiasm. A little bit of evidence could re-energize shareholders and draw in new investment. Also, does AMC have some sort of exclusive arrangement with eASIC?, in other words, eASIC won't develop hashing chips for other miners while under contract with AMC? Or at least AMC's design would be proprietary? Anything about these potential partners would be helpful.

Market manipulation like that is pretty much illegal in.. every part of the world? This did already happen when the price hit 0.0008 for the first time and a lot of share where issued at 0.0005. And it's in the asset description that the company can and will sell more shares when it needs the funds, even as low as 0.0005. It is better to do it now, than to let the price grow heavily and sell more when the company needs money immediately.

I've been an early investor bought below 0.0008BTC and cashed out at 0.0025BTC
Why the sudden change of heart? ken is his whole operation gets shadier everyday. It may seem like all is going well with his active posts/and few Avalon rigs running for dust dividends, but it looks more and more like a scam to me.
But this is bitcoin stocks and we have seen in the past, elaborate scams aren't new. This may be the biggest one yet.
Go read the share information and contract over and over, investor's benefits very little and I honestly don't know how you can justify selling your newer issued shares at 0.0025. I understand if there are significantly less shares before you introduced 4million shares at 0.0025. But no, that's not the case... 10TIMES the amount of shares has already been present and issued. You honestly think you can just increase your stock by 310%+ by issuing another 4 million at that price claiming early bird investment?
You just tripled your money and you are still complaining? My worry as a potential investor is the opposite. Despite tripling his money the guy has nothing good to say about the operation. There are lots of people in this thread with similar views. I went through 380 pages of ASICMINER discussions and believe me, its 99% praise. Here its 50/50, makes me vary wary as potential investor. Hey mate, you are correct. If theres 40 million shares on issue at lets say at the rate of 0.0025 a share. 40m x 0.0025 = 100k in BTC. There is no way this company is worth 100 thousand in bitcoins LOL. Did i miss something here? I can't see this going up. I also wonder why the need to offer 40 million (or is it 100 million) shares in a brand new venture. Why pick this amazingly large number? Probably not important, just seems strange to offer such a huge number of shares when you begin something. I'm not a naysayer. I'm looking at this very closely as an investment opportunity. But I believe its good to look at all angles when investing, as there are plenty of investments looking for cash. Because then you can offer the shares for "cheap" and still make a killing

I'm curious, when do people think the undercutting will stop and more importantly why?
Still, the good news to take is that a sizable portion of the released 2 million have been eaten into and its only been a couple of days. Lets just hope the momentum can continue...
It would be helpful if Bitcoin wouldn't tank right now. I think AMC will remain fairly stable for the next few weeks but the BTC/$ course might still drop, so there's no reason to invest. Here's a thought...Bitcoin is going down because bitcoin is flooding into AMC which is being dumped on the market for cash. Just a thought...

You are correct, the more released information, the better. Simulations take a few days to run, and should be pretty accurate, due to the way the chip structure is already built (this is not a fully custom design, just using a custom metal layer on standardized logic circuits, their "eCells"). I'm sure they'll do a press release after the first part of the NRE is paid. I'm not sure about the exclusivity for all chips (there's still an NDA in place), but yes, AMC's design is proprietary, so no one else gets that.

I've known Ken for some time now and didn't know eASIC was working with them (AMC+VMC). All the best to them in this endeavor.

Some more information about eASIC:"eASIC's vision and technology": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQsvbvv2Dww&hd=1"The Big eASY, eASIC Debuts 45nm FPGA Killer", a 2008 article that explains very well their eCell design, please read it attentively: http://www.eejournal.com/archives/articles/20080805_easy/"The devices use a logic cell structure that is analogous to the LUT fabric of an FPGA, but programming is accomplished by a “configurable via” that bridges between routing metal layers. Since this is a single mask layer, there is very little cost or risk involved in programming/customizing the devices. Furthermore, in early production, the via layer can be programmed via e-beam, allowing for very small (as in 1 unit) production runs. The company can easily produce a wafer with many designs from different companies, so there is no “minimum quantity” issue for setting up the fabrication process."

It will end when every smart investor has sold the shares purchased for < 25. Whatever the new price consolidates at after that, will be the price Ken lowers his shares on offer to.

That was not the reaction i was expecting on the order books. Seems to be a stunned calm at the mo, not knowing what to make of it, and/or taking it in. The news on the chips seems to have been exactly what people were suspecting, so the effect the news had on the share price had already been factored in at this point. There is no proof whatsoever that chips will be made yet people are buying shares, what a fucked up world. Was there no proof that your Bitcoin store would ship merchandise when you opened it either? I'm not sure what you are trying to say. How does one get proof of a chip being built when they are actively trying to raise funds to do so?
