I just PM'd Ken and offered up the assistance of btct.co. When the new issue is approved we would lock trading on AMC-PT and transfer over all the shares to the new issue. It'd be painless for everyone involved.
Cheers.
Ken you need to take advantage of this, and bitfunder needs to take notice.. just sayin I like painless! BF needs to do the same, because I can guarantee not all AMC shareholders have the Google Auth required for share transfers enabled. The two factor thing is very confusing for me... I think I figured it out, but only because I got a fancy computer phone last week. Good luck to everyone else

While any start-up company has risks, and AMC is definitely a start-up (with implied risk), I am prepared to invest 20-50 Bitcoins in it's stock based on solid prospects. I have read the prospect and liked it.
In addition, I would like to see financial statements once every quarter (or every month). I don't ask them to be audited, because auditing costs are way too high for a start-up company, but they should exist. As company grows, auditing should be added.
News statement has poor wording though, for example the relation is unclear between Active Mining, Active Mining Corp and Virtual Mining Corp.
The explanation is this: (by <serp>) AMC used to be the mining company, VMC was the company that was going to make the chips, ActiveMining (AM) is now the combination of both to my knowledge

To my knowledge that is correct, AM is the merger of the two former companies. I believe the AMC and VMC monikers will still exist to delineate the mining and hardware sales departments inside AM.

Ken: Investing in ASICminer shares as a means to preserve capital is a *really bad* idea for capital savings.
The problem is that they can crash by over 90% for they could be grossly overvalued.
For example: At 400,000 shares x 4 BTC/share their market cap is 1.6 million BTC. It is risky to buy at this valuation. Please read history about South Sea company stock bubble.

Anyone had trouble not receiving confirmation from Ken when transferring shares from BTC-TC? I got my confirmation email, and sent to the requested address, but still have not heard anything back.

I agree with you Technologov, but ASICMINER shares may be about to jump up above 5.0 again with news trickling out of their 5GHash/s and 10GHash/s miners up for sale in China. (link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=99497.msg2696280#msg2696280). This kind of news generally gets ASICMINER prices rising. So, in the short-term, we are likely to gain from the strategy (albeit risky). It might be a good idea to liquidate those positions at 5.0—5.25, and channel those funds to the NRE or assembly costs of the Avalon clones. It would undercut dividends in the short term, though.

Those lines were just from the original contract of May this year, when there weren't any avalons hashing. I don't think Ken has any asicminer shares right now, since all dividends are coming from the avalons. Check the ActiviMining contract, it's much simple, clearer and updated!

I feel the need to chime in a moment here. I have been to VMC's offices and they are for real. They have some some cases and power supplies received (ironically exactly the case shown on their website which others were giving them grief about using "stock" photos). They have a product flow layout plan which they shared and they were more than happy to give us a tour.
I am a totally uninvolved third party (though we may offer some assistance in product flow through their assembly plant if further requested).
Anyway, whether they can or cannot delivery ASIC chips of their own design is not for me to say. I do, however, fully believe they intend to deliver and are not running a scam.

This needs to be edited in your instructions immediately, Ken. I was also confused by this. Ken did list instructions for tendering your AMC-PT on BTCT.CO to BTCT.CO. I opted to go through with that process as I was getting conflicting instructions on these forums. I currently have nearly two thousand shares pending tendering and now Ken is talking as if the BTCT.CO listing might take a while to get done. My fear is that those of us who followed the initial instructions and are currently "holding" no shares in AMC or ActiveMiner on BTCT.CO (because they've been transferred to AMCTENDER1) will miss out on dividends. Ken has not addressed this concern directly. It would have been nice to have very clear instructions with a date and timeline.

(link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=252233.msg2694806#msg2694806) It would be nice to get those 20,000 chips online by the end of September. BTW, For those who are currently selling below 0.0025: Thank you for your short-sightedness. Personally, I think selling before the 20,000 avalon chips come online is se laedit.
