I will let the others try and help on this one. (if it pops up dos box and closes try opening a cmd prompt and changing to the wallet folder and executing the bipcoin.exe from the dos box. that way it wont close the dos box and you can see what its saying on exit)

But Welcome montas101 hope to see you around the forum
now it say this> C:\Users\kostas\Desktop\bip>C:\Users\kostas\Desktop\bip\bipcoind.exe
Failed to parse arguments: unrecognised option 'server'

what do i do wrong ?

i did try to run the cli the bipcoin.exe in windows 10 64bit but it starts and close so fast that i can not see what is wrong.
i did install gui wallet just fine.
but now that the site is down i cannot mine.
can some one help me?
thanks

Are you just double-clicking the file?  It needs to be run from the command line.

hi all
i did that and it do the same thing again...close real fast

Running an .exe File via Command Prompt

That way at least you'll see some error messages that will help us figure out what's wrong.

Yes so far, solo mining has been fun. I have mined approximately 69 Bips in 2 days.

The problem that I have run into is this:

1st wallet, was mining and mined approximately 43 bips. then I noticed that while mining was starting to get errors and that the block-chain was not increasing. and none of my 43 bips were coming unlocked. Backed up my wallet, restarted it and still no change. I cleared out all the Block-chain files and restarted bipcoined and re-downloaded the block-chain and all seems to be going well. I re-loaded my backed up wallet file in simple wallet and it is showing a 0 balance, nothing in locked or unlocked.

If I open the wallet file in the GUI windows wallet it still shows the transactions for mining the coins, but it is still not showing them unlocked.

I am not sure what to do.

Usually for my knowledge all i need is the wallet file, yet I also noticed that it also creates and address file, I still have both.

I created a new wallet and have since been mining for approximately 10 hrs and have mined approximately 26 Bips.. I am worried about losing these ones as well.

Any ideas?

thanks in advance

It takes 60 blocks to unlock miner tx (2 hours).
Also when opening simplewallet, run command reset - it will reset and reload all transactions from blockchain.

Sounds to me like you have a configuration file somewhere in there with bad options.

bipcoind.exe should run as is just by clicking the exe. it does for me

i always get "wallet failed to connect to daemon". does it requires port-forward for mining?

Sounds like you're just running simplewallet.  You also need to run bipcoind.

Shocked Someone's selling BipCoin on Open Bazaar already:

https://duosear.ch/@revlisnoillub/listing/926a7d14158c74af6e41f0ae353921c74be086a4

Good merchant too. I bought four 1/4 ounce Sons of Liberty Mint silver pieces from 'em. Shipped promptly, was as promised.

I like their valuation. BTC price there is just under a dollar a bip.

Well, hell!  At that rate, I've made just short of 80 bucks letting this little laptop plug along the last few days!!  Cheesy
Gonna just let her keep plugging for the weekend.

:::EDIT:::  and yeah, I know it ain't really valued at a dollar a bip.  But it really kinda is.  Especially if anyone bought any.

Would it cause any problems, either for the network or the miners if I solo mine from 2 different computers, on different ISPs but using the same wallet?
