Either one of this is not the exact definition of gambling. You obviously can search it on web, People just give their opinion and opinions are either not true or false. You your self could have your own definition of it.

Yeah people just expressed something that they feel and experience
Mostly will say gambling is really a way to have fun to spend your spare time
Also gambling can be your career but not much people can do this as it's not considered as a good thing
I personally think that gambling is a bad way to get profit even just for having fun.

Yeah it is just for fun and past time they are made it for entertainment not for source of income or profit..
So better to treat gambling as your past time so that you can not think about your loses or you will not trigger to be greed if you are winning a alrge amount..

Not only in your country but many countries gambling is not allowed in most of the places. As long as one gamble vocationally for fun purpose then it should be fine because it is like other fun activities doing vocationally. But if anyone is going for it everyday then that is not a good thing and should avoid daily gambling.

Actually in countries where the population is less educated and the employment level is low the government and the society looks towards gamblers as a criminal because its hard to get employment and they are ruining money. So if you tried to bet a billion dollars you would win? I don't think so. Winning comes only if you're lucky, the bet amount doesn't matter. At all! It is just your mind that makes you think you should bet more to win. False! You can win with very small amounts a huge amount of money! For most of us, we do not treat gambling as an investment because the amount needed to invest is big to have a good return and we know that most  of us are just small time gamblers here. We do have small bankroll and hope that it can bring us good amount of money so basically what we are doing is gambling with a little chance and we base on luck hoping for positive results all the time.
