Gambling is more than game. In gambling you have risk to lose your money, you can win also. But game is only played for fun. But it can be compared with investment. A risky investment is also called gambling you know. So its more like investment but too risky.
i agree with this and we should not doing gambling for every day because the dangerous to playing gambling is bigger than we can think. the games that is available in gambling is really attracting us to still continue to played but we should thinking about the risk that we can get. but i don't think that investment is also risky because we can make profit with that programs, i know that the reason of investment could be risky is when the investment program is become scam and we should be aware from this. Everything we do in life entails risks. It's just about the preparations that we do to make those risks are worth it so that we won't have any regrets with the results of the risk we take. Same goes with gambling. We have to be ready even before we make that first bet. We have to expect the worse so that we will be a bit careful about the decisions we'll make especially because gambling involves money |

Many people said the gambling is just a game and another people said it is Investment. How do you think?  It is far from being investment. I think it is not investment, because it is way too risky, you can lose monry easily, and most important thing, gambling is based around luck, in online casinos it is all about rng, so it can't be investment. So i think that gambling is a game, because poker, blackjack, and every other gambling way is a game, where you can earn money, or lose them, but you also can play all these games for fun only, without money and it will simply be game |

yes people often call the risky investment as gambling but we cannot call gambling as investment as that is not a place to earn money by just playing games in gambling sites and casino. gambling is only for fun and if someone want to earn money from gambling then they need to start their own casino. |

Everyone here watched the movie 21? That movie is based on true story where the students used card counting in casinos. Of course they have great mathematical skills and memory that has been polished by practice and some have raw talent. But do you think these guys really want to play in gambling from the start? What is gambling to them?
What I'm talking about is there are people that treat gambling as a real business, a work, a path that can make them rich. Do you think the millionaires would insist in gambling business if there is no profit? These people won't invest in something that they don't need. These kind of people view gambling in a different way than ordinary people.
Let's take it to the other side;
Some people buy lottery tickets everyday hoping that they would be an instant millionaire. Some are having a facepalm at the corner of the street after losing a bet in a cock fight, or a horse race. To these people they view gambling as a one way ticket to success, a golden key that may open the door somewhere where there are treasures. But in truth they are slowly succumbing to gmbking addiction that later may cause to the loss of everything. These extremes are being experience by all of us, it's just upmto us where will we put ourselves.
Good analysis on this. I agree with you that it really depends on the person who is gambling. People have different views of gambling and we all gamble for different reasons that is why everyone of us will have a different definition of gambling. But it would still boil down to, gambling is a game of chance. That is it's raw definition. How to interpret that, it depends on the person like what you said. Gambling is for Fun for few people, a life changer for few. It can be a time pass for few and can be a habit for few. Some thake it a life earning and some just play it as they feel nice to play and gamble. All have different opinions. |

Well that is a wrong guess, if there are 50 percent results for winning and losing, then there must be a probability that the count of all gamblers that is winning is 50 percent and the gamblers that is losing is also 50 percent which is really not right. There are only 10 - 20 percent that won a gambling activity, some of them use a strategy and some of them merely luck and cheats. Gambling is a risk that people take to gain something, not just money, there are also faith, trust, love, fame and pride. We can't really know what is the right percentage of winning and losing that we are experiencing in gambling, especially those games which do random rolls, like lottery and dice, so, the winning chance there or hitting the jackpot is only 0.000001 percent, correct me if I'm wrong. But if we are just going to talk about online casinos here, then I'm afraid that there is no such thing like cheating, for somebody to win. He'll be either kicked or get banned forever in that certain gambling site, but it is possible for an online casinos to cheat, for them to earn even more, but I can't guarantee that their players will stay on them if they are doing such thing. They have this thing called "House edge" which is pretty enough for them to earn good, that is why I don't think that they will cheat also, it is just a mere thought.  |

yes people often call the risky investment as gambling but we cannot call gambling as investment as that is not a place to earn money by just playing games in gambling sites and casino. gambling is only for fun and if someone want to earn money from gambling then they need to start their own casino. an investment usually done in the longer period , so clearly for me personally that gambling aren't an investment at all. it's just a way to get entertained but as time goes by a lot of people use it to make money but then as always failed to make it happen. they aware about that fact but ignore it as they feel comfortable to keep gambling rather than to stop and looking for another habit. |

In my opinion, the definition of gambling can be a game but it can also be considered as an investment because everyone has different thoughts and definitions. But I suppose much of the gambling is a game. The majority of gambling games are based on luck factor. If you are lucky you will have a lot of money, but if you are unlucky you may lose money. Investing in gambling is hard to make a profit, and most people who invest in gambling suffer a loss. That is my opinion, there may be other opinions

Depends on how you see gambling in your mind . It is the same as game if you play for fun however if it is for profit then it is not a game. I consider it as a game because I play for profit, at one point I only gamble few amount each day and I consider it the same as arcade game where I need to pay some small amount to play. |
