For me gambling is a form of entertainment, this is my way of distressing after a long day of work. I do not suggest gambling to everybody though since we all know that gambling involves losing money. But for as long as you know your limit then you do not have to worry about anything.

I agree with you idea. Gambling is risky and it involves losses more than win since the casino owners have built it for their profit and not for the players profit, except the very few jackpot winners out there, who are again very few in number. If one can control their playing habits then gambling can be a mode of entertainment. More so if the money played is from someone's tip and not your own.

Right! I don't know anyone who gambles that has more profit than loss I think gambling is designed that way. And yes learning to control your playing habits will not make you not lose a lot of money and will give you the satisfaction of having fun through gambling.

Many people win as well but it is not for us. I know what you feel and we are not going to win it. I know a friend that keep winning everytime he play, he always take profit whenever he play but that kind of thing dont happen to me. For me it is only about having fun as well and nothing more than that

That's the other side and wrong thinking that gambling is said to be an investment. No way it can be an investment unless you are a bankroll investor, but if you are gambling, playing dice, poker and other games then we cannot say that it is an investment because you are simply gambling or wagering your money.

If you do your research, gambling is considered as business, investment, and entertainment.

Business, it is a business since owner make a gambling start up in order to earn money from players and is following rules and needs license to operate.
Investment, it is an investment since owner need to spend his own money, time and effort.  Aside from that, some gambling casino open up their bankroll for investors thus making gambling as investment option.
Entertainment, it gives entertainment to the players who want to relax and have fun with their friends while wagering money.

Indeed mate. I also have the same idea in terms of gambling it's for fun and entertainment sometimes just to kill time. And if I win then it would be my luck but I will not push through to get more profit because I might lose all my money in time.

Gambling is designed to make fun, having enjoying and especially to earn money. That was the true reason why they made gambling. In anscient time gambling is just for fun and for enjoyment but then as time come and as days goes by gambling today are just for earning more profit. Meaning, they only gamble just because of money. Yes profit in gambling is a secondary thing associated with it moreover it is only there to drive people into gambling and get them addicted (that is the motif and not all of them are addicts). The bigger picture only reveals more losses than wins and hence gambling should be a mode of entertainment only and not a source of earning. There is abundance of online casinos and physical casinos. Fact is the legal status of gambling in a country that matters.

Yeah you're right dude. Its just a matter of what and how much you're willing to risk that would determine if gambling can be good or bad for you. We all take risks everyday though we have to also consider thoroughly the consequences of these risks that we take.

Gambling is a risky way to get rich. It can make you a beggar or a millionaire depending on your luck. Most of them do turn up as beggars though, otherwise the casino would go bankrupt. Since luck is the most important in EV- games they are not profitable every time you play. But then there are EV+ games like poker, sports betting where your skills and knowledge cam help you win.

The fact is that the casino is a very good business and you can earn very well at a casino. But only the fact that they earn exactly the owners of the casino, they are those gamblers who are eager for profit And they run to gamble. A good example of las vegas, when people come there to play and leave there all their money, and the casino pays taxes and due to these taxes this city develops and blooms. You can only imagine what kind of money settles in the pockets of the casino owners.
