Teenegers are smart enough to understand bitcoin, I think learning by doing is the best for them. Just give them bitcoin, they will find the way how to use it.

No, we should lead them on how they are going to use those bitcoins that we are going to give them. Maybe they could try to use some entertaining sites or you can just simply allow them to cash it out by means of exchange websites and let them use those money for purchasing anything they want. And surely that will make them more interested in bitcoin.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I've learned in my time for myself one truth - who has the information, he is rich, so when you know what that way of earning - earning himself the real methods and techniques do not tell all, but with the children at the right time you need to share.
There is no truth in that .The people who got rich are the ones who entered bitcoin when it was in its infancy and they earned a pretty good amount of coins by mining with their laptops or home pcs but to make some money right now it is not that simple even if you every information about bitcoin ,just consider investing in bitcoin if you have any plans to make money out of it.
For an adult it's understandable and accessible, and the child will be difficult. Of course it all depends on the age. For their first feature and the problem is restlessness.

Kids nowadays are very smart enough because of technology and I guess they are smarter than us, adults. Just simply tell them that bitcoin is good for buying their favorite sweets in their favorite sweet shops. But they need to work for it, like explaining the simplest way of getting bitcoin which is faucets, that's a good way to help to start.

Kids were very smart in technology, but we need to segregate and teach them about advancements. If kids were taught about it, soon they would learn and start using. The drawback is that the children mind gets fixed to digitalization but never have focus on other activities.

Yes, we must because if we are just going to allow them to learn with their own. Everything is now in internet, whether it is good or bad. And much better to teach all the good things about bitcoin and as well as the new technology about this crypto currency. And it is not bad to teach them about earning through bitcoin, but make sure it is not the primary reason because they need to enjoy their adolescence.

maybe it is much better to just give them an idea and a basic information about bitcoin and stick to it first we can teach them some ways to earn later on if we can be sure that they will responsible with everything they will do because for sure most kids or the teenagers will enjoy it that they might forget their own responsibility and will make more time being online rather than studies .

98% of the children don’t know about bitcoin in your country, I am sure 99% of the whole population in my country don't know anything about bitcoin despite the fact there has been talk of it in television  especially in those dedicated to the economy.

That's okay, because as you've mention, even adults don't know what bitcoin is in where you are. But anyway, teenagers are easier to teach about bitcoin compared to old people. Old people tends to refuse anything that are alien to them. Teenager, with a simple explanation, they easily gets it and they are open minded. A simple question and answer about bitcoin, could be the best way to teach teenagers about bitcoin.
Yeah the old are to set in their ways, but the young adults and teenagers will see bitcoin and even if they do not understand it fully they will get enough to get interested and begin to use bitcoin.

It's not a good idea to use bitoin when you do not understand it, at least you learn the basics and since kids does not really try to comprehend it, it would be risky for them to use and might lose their money when using, like being hack or maybe can lose it in gambling.

Agree.. Bitcoin for children is not that good idea because most of them has a greedy characteristic which they can make bad decisions on using bitcoin or investing it on different sites. Most of the kids don't have patience so there will be a high chance of getting loss of their bitcoin or money and somehow it will be very frustrating for them. So let the kids still use toys and not bitcoins because not all the kids are interested on bitcoin or business.

Teaching kids about Bitcoin or money in general don't make them greedy it what's the lack of money that makes any person greedy. Also everything  like inequality and wanting for personal gains make them greedy. Teaching kids money will make them be smart in the future about handling their assets and where to put it. It is one of the best lessons for kids that can be handy in the future.

Initiating bitcoin for teenagers doesn't make them greedy.
It would help hem to support their needs. It is not hard to explain to them what is bitcoin since it was in the field of computers that was necessary for their fields. In fact, starting bitcoin is good for teenagers as for them to spent their time in worthy things. Let's do believe their capability for future.

People use fiat every day despite the fact many people does not understand it fully, many people in the forum use bitcoin without understand it fully, for example many people don't know how an engine of a car works but they know how to drive it and that is all what they need.

I guess explains bitcoin in children is very difficult. I have a nephew who is very naughty, I always show them how to look for bitcoin, but they did not want to learn it, perhaps because it is a complicated thing. I do not want to impose it, and make them become stressed. so, I decided to teach them when they were aged 10 years +

I agree but I do not think that we should just give them it, they have to some how earn it.

Kids are naughty, that's normal, and I think teaching them is really not advisable, they are always after the fun, that is why teachers won't teach them too much about letters and numbers, and if they do, they will do it with the kids doing the actions and plays. But for teenagers, well, guess what? they are more tech savvy than us. It's easier to tell them about bitcoin, I could say that they are the easiest one to teach.

I think we are not spoiling them if we are going to give them not whole bitcoin but maybe mBTC. That's way better as we know teenagers are conscious enough and they wants to learn a lot of things because of their curiosity stage. And if we will give them a lot of bitcoins it can be possibly wasted, still we need to guide them step by step no matter how knowledgeable they are.

Actually starting kids early about money can really give him/her benefit for their future. Even if we don't admit it money is essential for us people who are trying to live in this world. Without money our life will he uncertain if we can go on or not. It looks improper at first but kids really need to learn how money works and how we can save it for the future.

Here's how you can do it.

You'll use whatever I tell you to or else. Now stop you're whining, go to your room and check your bitcoin-qt balance.

It should be easier to explain bitcoin to a teenager than to an adult as the young generation are more open to innovations and new things, technologies.
You can explain it by comparing to your country main fiat currency. And say the advantages and disadvantages of both. By making similarities to a new concept will make children or teenagers understand it better and later on you can present the details like how is bitcoin generated, where it can be used, what are the transaction fees,etc..

Nah. I won't do such thing and that kind of explanation to children won't really work most of the time because of the fear that you gave to them and it'd better to explain it on a calm and precise way on which their minds could easily understand because there's no tension involved compared to those harsh actions shown in the picture.

Yeah, that's the joke. Parents don't really explain things to children. They tell things to children and expect compliance.

why should we teach to children about bitcoin, it is their study time and they should give full attention to their study, and when they complete their study only then they should give time to learn bitcoin.
